I really understand your disappointment. And I know that my claims may seem shocking to some. This is because I try to be driven by logic, not emotions.
Anyway, it is kind of funny, because I've already expressed my disappointment with delays in another thread, and I referred to Gumdrop as an example of a creator who had potential, but failed the trust of patrons and other players.
Uhhh...logic? Dude, if you were in the position where you could collect 8000+ a month(96,000~ a year), and I gave you a holiday well over 12 months of "You can do whatever the fuck you want", would you take the money and go skip off to whatever vacation your heart desires, or would you grind out the work like an honest gentleman?
There are far better games, with far better renders, being churned out monthly, on far better games, and they're in the same position this fuck-stick is in(single person working on everything from coding to dialogue to rendering). Guys like Gumdrop set a bad precedent for the entire genre. After all, why put any effort in when you can just spend a few months on renders then rake in thousands of dollars while your audience is left scratching their retarded heads?
Think about that for a second: The guy is likely making far more than you do per year, for little-to-no work, no merit, no effort - just collecting a paycheck off horny gamers for
nothing. Now, folks on F95 don't generally buy into patreon donations so it's very easy to delve into a severe lapse in judgement when it comes to blatant scams - really, I get it. But realize there are roughly 1,000 people, dropping 10~ dollars per month on
nothing. I remember when I was strapped for cash back in the day and I could just barely rationalize my World of Warcraft subscription(addiction) of $15 a month. Something I could actually play, that got updates once in a blue moon, and had far more gameplay content than some bum-fuck hold-ctrl-for-porn 'video game'. Have you even "played" Dual Family? The guy can't even be fucked to use proper english nor grammar.
Nigerian email "You've inherited millions of dollars!" scammers don't make nearly the profits this massive twat does, and they at least work harder for the 100-200 dollars they may or may not get for their efforts. You sir, are a moron. If not a moron, then the dev himself masquerading as a moron - but a moron none-the-less. I apologize mods, it needed to be said(I happily accept the warning/ban/etc). Gumpdrop hasn't earned nearly 6-figures a year, therefore he doesn't deserve it. To argue against that is to argue against a meritocracy ie what every gamer swears by(Nearly the entire porn game audience).
Dual Family should just be obliterated from this website along with any other Patreon-based porn games that go 6+ months without an update while still collecting money. If anything I'd suggest they be on a stickie'd blacklist of games not to support or even express interest in. I can go on the latest updates section of F95, limit the search to the last 365 days, go to the last few dozen updates and there's pages upon pages being well over 50% "abandoned" up until...sub 60s where we're entering the non-half a year period? WE enable that shit. It's criminal and we as a site and community actually play a role in that nonsense.
I'm very happy pirating all these games, getting my jollies off, and supporting the select few that I like. I'm not happy that people are getting robbed by some shmuck living in a run-down shanty of an apartment building with a computer and internet connection in bumble fuck nowhere-ville.

I've seen your posts in other threads, I'm not sure why you'd take a defensive stance in favor of the developer. Without proper elaboration, this just comes off as condescending and arrogant. You don't get to pout and back-pedal when you instigated the easily foreseeable dogpile.
