3 things i need to know about the next release.

1. player customization, how in depth will it be? just appearances? classes maybe? perhaps you can build yourself to still be a final boss or focus more on a management and/or buffing class that puts a monster or other person out there as the boss and customizes it according to the girl its fighting? also will you ALWAYS be a dude? i wouldnt mind the possibility of having more fun with futa-fied dungeoneers ::L

2. ive seen mentions of sluts being removed and other mentions of them being changed.... will there still be horny psychopaths clearing the dungeon coming after you? i found it kinda hilarious how their numbers built up over time, especially in new game+

3. if the next release might be posted elsewhere, how will i know where to find it? it almost feels like pure luck to have even stumbled upon this game to begin with. is there something i can bookmark to reliably see the next release?

1. Not much in terms of player customization so far. As of now the player will play more of a manager roll instead of the final boss in the dungeon. You'll be able to change trap modes, heal your creatures, or cast spells on the girls but you won't actually be someone the girls fight. You will have more options in terms of upgrades and research to improve your creatures, rooms, traps, and spells so you can customize your dungeon build to get the most out of your upgrades and research.

2. Yes there still will be a two special class types, Sluts and Nymphos, that when they clear the dungeon hinder the player, slaves, or creatures rooms instead of stealing treasure. They will not be designed as raid boss, dungeon killers though like the Sluts in the current version, which were designed to out scale, overrun, and end the game so you can start a new game and try different things.

Praying a real Developer creates a dungeon game where I can capture and fuck their work instead of well.. This laziness:p Hell, bonus points if I can use the captured girls as new encounters for invaders. I mean after I've broken and trained them. God, what i'd give for a real dungeon game.

I've been following this since page 2 or 3 I think and I must say I'm happy to see this game progress so far. Looks like you got the right balance between listening to player's feedbacks and implementing what you want. I'll be on the ready to try out the new version when it gets released and give more feedback through the ingame survey. Keep it up boss !

i am given to understand that the next game is going to be a lot closer to that, so theres something to look forward to

What's up with the preview images? Some animation, some cartoon style, some 3d-poser, some real life porn.

Is it really just a random smatter of whatever art you you steal from online?
What does the actual game look like? Does anyone have a screenshot or two?

normally I can understand people skimming through threads or ignoring them outright except the last few pages for games that have a fuck ton of discussions but you could try to be a little more proactive. Plenty of the reviews and several posts on the very first page talk about how the content is a bunch of mixed media so yeah those are the images in the game and it is that much of a mixed grab bag. As for the game itself its text based so if you havent played one of those before its similar to a visual novel but without backgrounds and character portraits. Reading through a lot of text and clicking on options with the occasional image popping up related to whats happening but otherwise its mostly text.

Yeah, I don't care. I looked at page one, saw that the preview images were garbage and posted asking what the game really looks like.
Sure, I could be proactive, but is this worth being proactive over?

Should I spend time digging through the thread, or is this game not even worth the effort it'd take to download?

Anyway, it should be obvious that my first question was rhetorical, as evidenced by me answering it myself in the very next line.

I already know that because I did read a couple of reviews.

But reviews are mixed. Really mixed. Suspiciously mixed.

That aside though, the actual point of my post was the last line.
"Does anyone have any real fucking screenshots showing what the game actually looks like?"
Because uploading nothing but stolen art assets doesn't actually tell me anything or make me want to play your game.

Post pictures of the management UI, or a dialogue box, or what combat looks like, or literally anything that's actually from the game, not just stolen from R34dotcom.
Attach those to the OP and you might actually get some worthwhile discussion instead of just people repeating the same complaints over and over.

Basically, what i'm actually looking for here is any hint that the developer gave a single fuck at any point during development. as a sort of barometer as to whether I should bother giving a fuck myself or not.

But I can't just come out and ask 'Hey guys, is this actually any good?' because some of the most popular games on f95zone are absolute dogshit garbage that inexplicably became popular despite having bad 3d art, sparse sexual content and no gameplay, so i'm looking for one single real screenshot, so I can judge for myself.

Like free-cities, or like Lilith's Throne?

By which I mean that the former is basically just a text-dump on a plain background, and the latter while still a text-only game, at least has an attempt at a unique UI with a bit of genuine effort put into it.

So why should anyone care to spoon feed you? Its a text based game, if you've played one you've played them all regardless of their UI, especially for HTML ones. Its buttons that lead to text blocks, the design hardly matters when the biggest selling point of these kinds of games is the content itself and the writing. Lilith's Throne, as you've mentioned, is kind of a special case because its not just purely a text based game but something with Dungeon Crawling elements which is hardly ever utilized in this genre.

If you don't think the game is worth downloading for the kind of concept its going for and checking out for a minute or two and you cannot even be bothered to make a decision yourself after skimming a few pages then just move on. Why do you make it sound like someone here has to earn your seal of approval for this game? You're clearly not actually interested in text based games if you're really asking for a screen shot of whats typically always a plain or stylized window just to deliver text. There really is no need to get that bent out of shape as if your post wasn't understandable.
