So.... Is there a way to run Tyrano on Linux? Wine gives me a black screen and AFAIK Tyrano doesn't have a native version. What do we do?

It should run with wine. I had someone test it just to make sure. But when I tried it on my VM I couldn't get it to run through wine. Apologies for this.

bug (finally), and WINEDLLOVERRIDES=libglesv2.dll=d workaround does the trick it seems. Among other possible fixes there can be be giving --disable-gpu, --no-sandbox or --single-process argument to Tyrano, haven't tried those.

Where did you download this version from. I've already helped one person where we found out that the version they downloaded was altered and not from an official source.
Also what windows version are you running?

That hasn't worked for me...
Try executing
export WINEDLLOVERRIDES=libglesv2.dll=d beforewine Duplicity.exe in that same shell.Actually, my whole command would be
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 WINEARCH=win64 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-64 WINEESYNC=1 WINEDLLOVERRIDES=libglesv2.dll=d wine-staging-4.11 Duplicity.exe but this should be irrelevant.

Since there only seems to be one comment complaining and one comment responding, I am going to throw in my thoughts.
I don't know what the author's intent is, ^after playing 0.7b I still don't know what the heck is going on in this game,^ and I don't begrudge anyone their fetishes. If you like transsexual characters (bearing in mind that transvestites do not have breasts, they are just men who like to wear "women's clothing," a distinction manufactured by the fashion industry), than sure, make a story about a transsexual, but for the love of Eros, make it CLEAR whether it is a transsexual, a hermaphrodite, or a futanari!
There are people (i.e. me) to which that distinction is important. I don't object to the penis. After all, I have one, we've lots of great times together, but for my tastes, I need there to be a vagina. Honestly, if I was single, I could date a hermaphrodite, no problem, but if there's no vagina, then it's just not for me.
So, I'm all for people making whatever kind of story/game they want, hooray for artistic freedom, but please be clear about this point. All you need is a clear use of terms or one good look at the undercarriage so we can see what's going on. I don't think that's asking too much.
P.S.: Actually, what we're talking about is a "pre-operation transsexual." If the character goes all the way from full man to full woman, then he would be a transsexual, but I'm making allowance for "porn terms." We just say "trans" or "pre-op" because it takes too long to say "pre-operation-transsexual," and also, frankly, post-operation-transsexuals tend to prefer to simply be called women.

They then proceed to spend the next 2 or 3 pages arguing with anyone who'll bite.

Not liking something is fine, we all have things we don't like.
