Yep, and the devs put out the beta version for people to catch any final bugs and such so the devs can get them fixed up before putting out the final release version.

I haven't played the beta build, but I don't see why they would change anything with the story.
Alpha builds are rough and full of bugs and typos. The devs get bug reports and then go back in, fix the bugs, then release the beta build so any bugs that were missed or any new bugs that crop up can be reported and fixed before the game is considered to be in a state fit for final release. So, this is just a bit more polished than the alpha version, but still needs testing to find any issues, that's all. Story should be exactly the same as the alpha build.

Week 1 is it's own exe, and the day 10+11 exe also has days 8 and 9, so you really only need to download those two, and the dark mind patches for week 1 and for day 10+11 if you want those.
Can't seem to find a link for the old specials anywhere, I believe it was last years Halloween & Christmas, then New Years and Valentines, I deleted them a long time ago when I saw the first 7 days were going to become a 1 week download so I assumed the specials would be a part of that but based off of the FAQ it seems that is not the case, anyone know where can find the older specials?

They will, once week 2 is complete.
When week 1 was in development, they developed it 2 or 3 days at a time (day 1+2, day 3+4, day 5+6+7). They're doing the same for week 2, and once day 12+13+14 are finished, they're going to combine them into a single week 2 exe.

I just downloaded day10+11 but I started on day 8?
Edit: Sorry, I understand now that they include the previous days of the week to then finish the week with all the days.
Is there anyway to skip unseen text? Tried changing in a preference file after looking it up but couldn't get it to work
