Are all 3 weeks seperate games? Or can I add them together?
Is there a walkthrough mod for week 2 and 3?
To be honest, there's no real need for a WT mod for this game, the choices are pretty clearly labeled as to any consequences (for example in week 3 there's a choice that tells you it'll be a bad end).. There's also a choice that says (be careful where you cum), I made the risky choice there, just to see where it goes.

I think the desire for the walkthrough is prob from the branching paths the game likes to present esp the first week... if you decide to visit the neighbour your gonna miss out on Tomoe scene, go see the nurse and your gonna miss out meeting everyones favourite Sloth on the roof. Really i would suggest to anyone download the mod to get ALL the scenes vs worry about Walkthroughs as its easy enough to see which decisions will end up leading where but its the choosing on which scenes your missing out most people are concerned with.

I'm probably missing something but did the game stop adding names to the rosters? I'm starting day 20 and already there are over a dozen girls not listed anywhere. I don't think anything was added to the roster or calendar since week 3 started, maybe even before. Example Lilith (stripper at the club) appeared near the end of week 2 and again mid week 3 and I can't find her. The roster was helping this old guy to keep track of who belongs where.

It's one of the problems being fixed in the month 1 merge.

First the Month 1 Merge is coming, which is weeks 1-3 merged into a more refined, more stable release. This will then be the ground work for following weeks. After that, it'll be 2-3 days a month again, until they hit the 6 month mark, for the 6 month merge.

I recommended waiting for the Month 1 merge, as it's going to be the only way to carry saves over into Week 4 and will result in less crashes. Assuming all goes well at least.

If you're waiting for the full ingame year release, then the projected release date was late 2021 or late 2022. Not sure if that's still going to be the case though. Either way, it's going to be awhile.
Wait, week 4 isn't included in month 1? WTF?

OK TBH gripe time on that one because just work on week 4 with the new system first then update weeks 1-3 in parallel as new developments have been made.

/facepalm Maybe I should patreon myself to project management since its what i do for a living anyways.

Month 1 is meant in a literal sense. The game started a week into the month of June(or July, I can't remember), so month 1 is the month of June(or July, whatever).

But hey, if you think you'd be able to speed things up, I'm not going to discourage you :)

Lol yeah it would have to pay my salary (which it wouldn't)

But yeah, organizing and projecting are part of my job. Sadly most dev teams (even AAA ones) seem to lack this. I've seen videos by devs who talk about the role of their project managers, and clearly have no idea what it means to be in that kind of support role.

Hey so I noticed you think you could do better, and that's great, truly, but this project already has an excellent manager attached to it. As well as some stellar coders on Blue's team, who are dedicating their time to making sure they can build a proper game the right way.

As a project manager you should already have realized that its better to take it slow on this stuff, when its the first a company has ever produced, to make sure as many kinks as possible are worked out, for the benefit of the consumer. I happen to be one of those consumers that has watched this evolve from the first days of Blue on his own, to now when he has a proper team of veterans helping him to make an excellent and (hopefully) bug-free game.

While your input is indeed appealing, the fact that you offer only dithering remarks about a semantics point, well it just really rings of an armchair developer. The team is doing fine, we're all okay with how this has been developing because Blue and his coders are actually one of the most consistent, and scandal free creators in the adult game development community. So this is one project where I am most certainly putting my money where my mouth is when I say, not only am I an upper tier supporter of Bluecat, I am as well impressed with the organization skills of the development team.

But hey, just a business cat, though the other game developers, content creators, project managers, and coders who are fellow patrons tend to agree with me. Still you really should become a project manager for lease for smaller developers, fi you can whip more of them into shape that are doing poorly for a bit fo side cash that could be helpful to us all.

I'm not sure about bonus content regarding scenes and story, but this merge will be quite beneficial for everyone. It'll have a lot of added features in game, as well as improved ones, and the save compatibility is important, so that for the future players don't need to replay the entire game again to get to later weeks after an update. It'll be a much more refined and improved version of the game that is already there, so I would suppose that's the point of it
Also, the Halloween special is coming out soon enough too, and that'll be good
Overall, I'd say this merge is quite important and it will be worth the time they are putting into it

I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or bad but I don't remember if I have yet been so emotionally invested in a porn game before. I've just spend a whole day being sad after the doctor at the hospital took the flowers from Kasumi, not being able to think about anything else. :(

Always spot the team member from a mile away. Really you shouldn't get hurt over what people talk about together on forums. if its mindless drivel to you, than its not worth your time. If it was aimed at you, I would send the message to the development team. Bitching to bitch because you're waiting months for the latest release is something everyone does.

But since you commented.....

And I'm sorry all I have are dithering remarks when I never said I was a developer. I manage people, organize and come up with believable deadlines while trying to provide the best outcome possible for all involved including the audience. Also I lack some key information. For one I never received any confirmation that there were/were not any new content being developed, so I could be dead wrong there. Which was my real hope. The other factor being what is and isn't being worked on, difficulty of task, etc. So if your expecting me to give you more than generic anything, I'm sorry to disappoint.

And take what exactly slow? No one's saying rush anything, I'm talking tandem development of new content with a merger outcome. this would provide new content for your audience while updating old content to the new system. As systems are completed with the new content, could be applied to the old content until the two merge into one.

This observation simply comes from your steady drop in patrons (I don't know your actual revenues). As your development wears on with no target release people move on because of their fickle nature. And with the current release being touted as no new content (again apologize if this information is false going by the original discussion here) then expect even greater dip. Lower revenues means lower pay, lower pay means all those great team members will have to look elsewhere eventually.

This moment in your development is like many similar types that really REALLY set a team back. The dreaded revamp, remake, restructure, etc. And its often one teams never truly recover from because the momentum gets lost.

You're welcome to msg me if you want to take it to private convo. I have no issues with that. But for your own professionalism it's probably best to not respond to generic detractors.

Best of luck with the rest of your development.

For one, everyone knows this project will take years to complete. The majority of people in this community seem quite patient, compared to other ones I've seen. Also, the merge is improving features that were broken in the current versions. Such as the music player, the map, important features for most. I am not a patron, have nothing to do with development, and from an outside view it's doing well and the game is growing quite quickly from my eyes
With or without this merge, the game won't be finished anytime soon. And they are working hard to improve everything they've done so far. It looks positive in most if not all ways

The project can continue indefinitely, so long as the money flows in. Like a daytime soap, it has no need for a conclusion.

I think you missed the point of our discussion. Its not about the total project. Content releases halted in favor of completing a project within the overall scope of the project itself. This isn't good when your revenue is derived from customer interest and what is more or less donations. As you say yourself you aren't contributing to them financially and if we look at their numbers it is starting to leak like a faucet. And I'm not talking about the monthly spikes that happen to all accounts, its steadily on the decline as the dry period wears on. There's far too much competition and not enough donors.

While I'm 100% certain that this choice will pan out to be very beneficial in the long run, its short term hits may take too much of a toll overtime if conclusions cannot be made. You also have to keep in mind that if the outcome has no discernable improvement to the content given, then it will be seen as a wasted effort.

Contrast to other developers with honey select/renpy toolsets and there is an expected amount of output. The reputation for being above others put bluecat into a forgiveness period, but do you really want to keep yourself in that position or do you want to consider a plan b scenario? Look at teams that took the halt/revamp route and look at teams that revamped in tandem. Halting progress teams haven't seen a good recovery while Tandem content only improved or stayed the same.

When I talk project management, I'm talking about making sure revenue streams continue to flow in, That projects continue to hold interest to its audience which in turn keeps driving the development team forward to continue with the project.

If i would have the option to choose between work on month 1 and also release new updates on the same time vs just focus on month 1 i of course would take the first one but unfortunately this option is not available because Ecchi Sensei is a teamproject and each update requires translation since my english is shitty shit shit.

But my translator is also addicted in coding and he manages stuff which means he can just work on month 1 or new updates.
and we're not that big to hire more people. We're already a team of three people + french translator + 5+ proofreaders.

But I already work on 2 updates further which means after month 1 release we're back at business as usual and release our updates in time. I personally hate merging periods because it drains the power of my team. They like to produce more content and release new updates but the merge is required for updating our framework and also implement new features and gladly after Month 1 it will take very long for the next big merge so we already happy when the work is done.

Can someone give me a hint on if you get to marry Tomoe in the current content. Im already on Wednesday night of Week 2, and there's no marriage plans yet. Is that in the current content? Next week maybe? I want her so much.
