Worked up a whole post analyzing just how actively little money Bluecat makes, when you factor in all the fees and taxes and such. Ain't worth it for people like you, take your money from the dev if you want but stop trying to tell people how to spend theirs. It is not your job to be spouting off this thing or that thing, that's my job. If you wanna complain about issues then that's fine, but I do not respect your blatant disregard for the information already provided and your flagrant removal of context.
Also do not talk down to me, you only make yourself out to be a damned child, how I sound on discord and how I am while on this site are two entirely different things. I conduct myself with a bit more tact here, because I'm not surrounded by people I actually give a damn about, I'm trying to follow the site's rules and act respectfully. Hate the game, hate the dev, hate how long this it's taken, but do not assign malicious intent where there is none and there is no evidence of it occurring. Stop making mountains out of molehills, you learned this in school, use your critical thinking cap and function like the adult I assume you are.
Do not diminish the reputation of a dev who has done nothing wrong other than having a hard go at making a game. For fuck sakes people this is as complicated as any other endeavor, and everyone runs into derailments in life. Why is it so much different when it's a porn game? Are your lives really so vacant as to have such an issue with adult entertainment creators, as to blame them for conspiracy and scamming whenever a singular thing goes poorly? What madman assigns guilt to the victim of circumstances beyond their control or scope of reasoning?
I'll tell you, they're called assholes, so please do not sink so low as to become one. Because all an asshole produces is shit, and that's all they ever do. that's the sum total of their worth, is how much shit can they spout off into the world.
The dev is not milking anyone, and they do not need to pause their patreon, people can unsubscribe if they wish but we're back on track for development on the merge-slowly-but there. Do not presume to speak on someone's behalf as to how they should express their finances. It is not your place, ever, to speak on the grounds of what someone can and cannot spend money on if they so choose. The spreading of misinformation is detrimental to the health of a game, to the health of a community, and to the health of all parties involved in its reproduction.
In other words, knock that shit off, and stop being a git.
This is not simply putting one piece together into another piece, it is an entire overhaul of all the issues Ecchi Sensei has been dealing with, all done at one time as the paying subscribers dictated should be done. Its fixing every major and minor bug, its going through line after line of code and adding biography stats, of each day for 21 days, and all the comments that come with it. It's making sure that there is a foundation to what will be done moving forward, its cleaning up old jank ass code for more complex code work that the team learned over time. It's fixing the phone system, making sure music is functioning properly, its making sure this doesn't all catch the fuck on fire when it launches.
It's polishing, its optimizing, it's making the game go from some half embedded rock in the ground into a gemstone. If you do not like what was decided? Tough. Shit. We made our bed and now we're sleeping in it, get over yourselves on the matter and leave the issue of the money alone. Criticize all you wish on how dumb this has gotten, how annoying it all is, how much you wish they could have handled it this way or another way. However, leave the obvious trolling at the door, do not come in here to condescend the person who is here to help, don't diminish the integrity of an artist.
You have no proof of any claims, what you have is hearsay and conjecture, and while technically a form of evidence legally speaking. It is absolutely useless unless backed by much stronger forms of evidence, of which you cannot provide. It is not up to Bluecat to prove jack shit, its up to any of you to prove your point about him, and so far all you people do is regurgitate the same arguments over and over again.
Was that formal enough for you, have I rebuffed you enough times that you will finally stay put? Will you stop trying to sway the opinions of full grown adults, who are within their rights to do whatever the hell they please with their money? Will you quit attacking the dev on a professional level, and me on a personal level where you have no right to do so in the latter?
Do not dare to assume who I am, ever, by any means, and by that same breath do not dare to accuse Bluecat of malignance.
Now that the issue is resolved, and it IS resolved, who would like today's question?
