I feel like its mostly a strawman issue that you're pointing to a dumpster fire project and proclaiming "They fucking suck, and haven't released anything yet! But they are still getting money! Therefore scam or milking!". Not you specifically, I meant the reason to bring up the money still being made in the first place. You are alright. Unlike many here, I don't begrudge people that donate despite lack of progress. If people want to pledge for years, without any releases, who am I to say anything, it is their money. I personally, cancel my pledges and move it to other developers if no release seems likely in the foreseeable future, but that is just me. Whenever Bluecat starts releasing new content again, the long delay will be a distant memory.

Since you know what is going on a lot better than all of us, if you were a betting man, when would you predict we will see new content for Ecchi Sensei? Early in 2022, or later?

I would expect new content within three months of the new year personally, and that's giving some extra leeway, than what I would hope would be a February return to new content. I am still hoping Latecomer pulls off a miraculous hat trick that puts this whole nightmare behind us, and that we swiftly move into a proper update right after within a two month, at worst, span. I'd like for this all to be over, but for it also to be complete, because then it doesn't feel like we flushed down a year of our lives waiting on jack shit.

I might not always sound like it, but I am very fucking frustrated at this point, I just am refraining from negativity as well cause it's not gonna help me. I blame nobody, I have no hard feelings about this, its a fact of business I know too damn well and did myself when I was an entrepreneur, I tried and failed to make a custom wooden pen making business work out. I look forward to moving on from this point as quickly possible, if not just for the fact that people will shut up, and we can talk about something new for once.

So yeah, I trust first quarter of next year will be back to normal at least in terms of content releases. There is a lot of goodwill to build back up for the next probably year at minimum, its hard to get the first time, and even harder after you have an event like this. But ah well, I'm just here for the ride baby .

Thankfully for me and hopefully others should really not put any stock in what you say since it's conjecture (not on the dev team to start with) and should otherwise be Bluecat putting this information out himself not that he cares too otherwise he would do it. Seems bizarre to me that there should be yet another potential 3 month (copium) wait even now. I really want Bluecat to hire a project manager ASAP personally.

It's actually hilarious if you go back 100-150 pages to January this year seeing you saying things like Bluecat is eager to work on something that's not the merge, other people saying how the merge will probably be the only thing to release this year (lmao what a call by Nikeee back then). Different times, less doom and gloom but really a foretelling of the future I suppose.

I guess I'm just retreading the same ground here but well I guess he wasn't that eager after all. It's just annoying how much stuff we could've had (merge done, multiple content updates, etc) if the dev would just take his dick out of his hands so to speak lol.

To be fair, if you wanna give me $3.329 - 8% per month (left with about $3050 before tax from the top of my head) for doing fuck all for over a year (closing in on 15 months, if u don't count halloween special, 18 months), please do. I could use the money to support developers who actually care about their game & update the game in a timely manner.
Offer open to anyone btw, not just Skummy. I'll take $3050 a month for nothing from anyone, just saying.

I'll be honest. I try to skip the Saki sex scenes when I can. I really don't like Saki as a sexable character. She's okay as a friend and daughter, but as someone you actively have sex with? That's where I draw the line.

Maybe it's her personality. But also, it feels a bit forced. Okay, Saki's friends wanna bang her dad, so why does she get to do it, too? Is there some kind of incest aura the Sensei is emitting from himself to influence others into wanting to bang him or something?

Saki is cute, but I just can't bring myself to think of her as a lover in the same sense as I could with Tomoe, Minako and Kasumi.

Skummy, I am curious: what subject are your degrees in? And to keep this on topic, how did your degrees influence your opinion on the game

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Associates in Applied Science in Business, Associate in Liberal Arts. Am a failed businessman and went back to school after the pen thing to complete my bachelors to have a better time, decided against going into the corporate world for a variety of reasons. Culminated in what I do now and why I hope to pivot this year, and why I took interest in PR for Bluecat.

As for how it colors my view on the game itself, it actually kind of goes beyond just this game, and grows to how grandiose Bluecat's vision is. He's a pie in the sky kind of dreamer when it comes to just how much he wants to do. That gives me a lens from which to view the game less as a standalone project, but he start of a massive endeavor. The whole thing could prove to be very entertaining, if his drastic mistakes don't fuck everything up first.

I do genuinely enjoy the avenues the game takes, and while I've never been much of a formal educator myself (I can do it its just a pain in the ass sometimes), the setting is always a fun one. From a business level standpoint I think the want to create this gigantic experimental academy and possible university, added on with all the cool nifty shit that comes with increased infrastructure, in this pretty backwater area is enticing. I hope to see how those avenues develop as our Mary Sue makes shit go brrrrrrrr.
