I looked at Hero's harem guild. The last game update was November 2020. That is 20 months of no update, so its marked.

As hard as it may sound, I guess this one may really be abandonned...
Considering the state when this last part was released, considered the "poor" state (compared to the previous releases)...
It is in comparison sadly clearly unpolished, comes across a bit hasty and the translation is partially really off...

When I downloaded this I had really high hopes, it had great potential, it seemed to be a long story and that's what I like,on the other hand I really don't like unfinished stories...

If one of you knows some stories like this one, WVM, Being a DIK... In a finished state... I'd greatly appreciate a hint, so far I couldn't find anything without really dark content that's somewhat finished with a closure except for Parental Love and even this goes to darker places...

I thought about trying to make my own thing, but atm I don't have the slightest clue about the software and on what or how to do... I'm not that good with things like photoshop but i'm capable of some basic coding stuff with c#, vb, java... I've worked with UnrealEngine and created several mods for some games so far (nothing including any graphics or animations)...
Maybe one of you guys who's working with Ren'py can give me some feedback... Is it possible to more or less start right away, learning by doing? Or does this need some serious learning upfront?

Guess I driftet a bit, hope it's okay...

You can try looking at this project Afterparty which uses UnrealEngine.

HI, Just downloaded the week 1 game and the week 1 dm patch. I was wondering how to apply the week 1 final dm patch? I search everywhere but didn't get any clear instructions. No readme file in the week 1 final dm patch. Will be really grateful if someone could help me out.

I don't know the content of the DM patch that you downloaded (I didn't downloaded the Week 1 Final DM Patch) but usually the DM patch archives contains a file named archive_dm.rpa (and files named README.txt and How_to_install_eccho_senseo_for_dummis.png).

firstly, thank you. your effort is more then welcome. secondly, bluecat doesnt seem in any sense excited about this project anymore. which is disappointing. i am still going complete what i have, and enjoy it, but not really expecting much after that.

as far as the abandoned tag, im not saying the tag is not warranted, because if you have to wait for 3 months for one single update something is deff wrong. what i mean is, even if a game here is said to have this tag, doesn't mean the game is actually abandoned.

also i apologize, i really didn't expect people to post the update posts here or i would have looked back a few pages myself. that is my bad.

i am trying to play week 2 and all the animated scenes say image not found and i get a black screen i can still play but sometimes i get the crash screen did i dl the wrong file? they all say just over 2gig on here or is it just not playable and i should hold off tell the game is 1 month and not weeks?

Man, something is clearly wrong with Week 2 and, if I know a thing or two about certain games and certain devs, I doubt that it was fixed in later updates. With that said, is there a way to fix the buttload of text that wasn't translated? I thought I could bear with it, but having to translate every list of choices and spend almost 10 minutes translating text messages killed my patience in 2 seconds.

Since I'm not done with even half of day 8, I'm taking anything even if it can break my save. Patches, things that I can do with the game files myself, any sollution is welcome.

Also, I doubt that week 2 takes whatever you chose in week 1 into consideration right? Unless I had to export a save file or something, because Fuyu went back to the standard pet name she gives to the MC and apparently he's against being with Tomoe's mom (even though I chose to secretly keep doing things with her because whatever).

If i remember correctly the weekly saves do not carry important stuff over because the Idea was for the game to be a one month introduction phase, with set decisions and then 11 months free roaming.
For everything else someone would need to decrypt the archives and renpy files, check variables, then do developer console commands.

So almost impossible to do that if one has 0 knowledge on any of this, right? I've looked up and there are no unofficial patches so the only way would be doing all of this ground work myself. Same for anyone else with the same issue.

The game throws an error when I choose 'Chat with your Wife' or 'Chat with your Daughters' after the tutoring session. Something wrong with the mobile phone overlay. That Update is Beta at best...

It would be easy to merge it all. But the Character Cards and other things were never in the main game. I found them released once but lost that file. Get every feature working would be problematic as I would need to retrace the entire project.
