Right now the carrying over of saves doesn't work, at least until the final version. You have to start a new game and it will assume max stats for all the girls. Once the final version is out you'll be able to carry on from your week one saves, you don't need to download week 1 again as long as you have a save from just before the end.

My advice, wait a couple of days until the final version drops. That way the bugs should be fixed, your saves will carry over and I'm sure someone will compress it pretty quickly.

I guess ill do that, tho i already downloaded day8-9 so ill give it a try and see if it is any good

If you already have it then try it, it's awesome. Just don't forget to activate the DM patch

Am I missing something? I downloaded the compressed new version, downloaded the patch, went into the game and activated darkmind, couldnt find the saves but did find autosaves, when i loaded one up after a bit i kept getting image file not found errors.

Very sorry if this has been asked before, I did read the faq but it seems a bit too much for my old slow brain

It's not the most user-friendly patching experience, to be sure, but it's not ridiculous nonsense either - make sure the patch version matches the game version. It's an extra step that could be eliminated in an ideal world, but I don't think it's as difficult as folks are making it seem...

Even in the final release, your saves won't work. You will need save from the combined week 1.

Yup, you can play Chapter 4 (D8+) without a Week 1 save

No your stuck with her. She's part of the main plot and seems to be gunning for the position of Harem Manager. There's a corruption path though where you intend to make her your obedient cocksleeve.

There's also some speculation that she might be one of his daughters which might make the "I'm fanatically in love with this woman I just met" thing a bit less weird. The man screwed a lot of women when he was younger so there should be at least one or two running around.

Yes. Note the Week 1 full is over 16GB. 19.1GB after unpacking, though I did install the DarkMind patch as well. The game is definitely rich in (sexual) content.
