I did, i figured that might be the problem, a google search led me to a sketchy download site with the old week one patch, seems to be working fine now

Glad you found it and got everything working, but you could've found it on lewdpatcher. Just below the link for the most recent DM patch on lewdpatcher, at the very bottom of the page, there's a drop-down menu link for showing previous versions.

No not yet, believe me Lotecomer, or BlueCat will let us know. I think I remember from an past post that the issue with the save's should be address sometime during the Alpha,Beta,Final of Day 10,11 release.
(Believe me I love to continue my save's from week 1 myself, just have faith in BlueCat,Latecomer and the rest of the team.)
