every VN has a plot... it depends on the user if the plot existent in the VN is considered a plot or not.
as for your question exactly, from my point of view, yes, it does have a plot.

The latest news we've seen is that the next update will be in the first or second week of August, then month 1 will definitely be after that.
If he is telling the truth then a update will be out within the next 2 days.
