No, just saving them. I know there is one dude you can't recruit but can save from the mimic

A dude you can save from the mimic? I think I never met it. I found 3 mimiics. 1 in the 2nd forest, 1 in fake Tauros's mansion and one in the demon lord castle.
I tried many variations on Katie's game, starting to understand what activates endings 3 or 4 instead of 6, but I never got endings 1 or 2. I thought i got it when i saw the soldiers at the demon lord castle and fought Rimururu with half life

Asked a TL they said "lucolmon's ___" so I guess here it would be Lukolmon's
"if u want the romaji it's rukorumonn no daiji"
