If there was a promotion, that advertised any H-content in Machibe Child, I'm not aware of it.
About 1.04 patch compatibility - honestly, I don't know. It might be fine, but it will likely revert any changes made in later patches.

Hey folks, i'm very new to modding and i think i got the 1.01 patch and seiso mod working but i was wondering: is there somewhere that shows if the seiso mod is working? like does the gallery expand? or do i have to keep playing until i get to that content?

If you installed 1.01 patch and Seiso patch aftewards, it should be working.
At some point of the story you will get an event and Hazakura Seiso unit will join, you will get few events to unlock her skills and that's it. No CGs so gallery doesn't change.
It was just a short teaser to promote Majikoi games back in 2014. Frankly speaking, no much value unless you're a huge Seiso fan (and even in that case you don't get anything substantial).
Also is it even translated? I need confirmation on this because I never bothered to look at it in-game.
Well hopefully its working, I mostly just want the character for completionist reasons but if there isn't much story outside of a few quests then its no big deal.
Not sure about the translation, looking it up Seiso seems to be unlockable once I reach the 'Taika Empire' which seems pretty deep into the game, so i can't really confirm myself.

China after Japan is non-Gold, Eiyuu Senki Normal
The (recommended) order of Conquest in Gold is Japan > Indies > Aztecs (For free) > Hawaii (For almost Free) > Vinland (to stop their Sea Raids) > Incas > USA > Mongol/Alexandria Alliance > Egypt > India (and by consequence, the UK) > China > EU > Africa > Russia > New Continent.

Well, China is second in the WWX campaign, the most recent one I played. After these many years, all game stories are mixed in my head.
Thanks for the hard work, Winkel. Just a question though! Finished playing both Eiyuu Senki games before finding your WWX patched version of Gold. Anyway I can carry my progress over from my previous playthrough? I wouldn't mind replaying the game for fun with new content but doing a NG+ on the WWX version would be great.
Sadly, no! For some reason, the save files of the non-patched version are not compatible with the patched one.
Ahh, that's a shame. Guess I won't do a NG+ run and just do a chill replay. Thanks for the info though! Plus, not being able to recruit Gilg and Enkidu like other Ancients at the beginning turns me off from doing a NG+ too haha.
Edit: Oh! Decided to open up the WWX-patched version and it's got all my previous data! Not quite sure how that works but I guess I'll do a NG+ then?
