WTF happened to the sport in this update? It was clear in the first episode the football which MC and Carlos play is not American football, but in this episode they're wearing shoulder pads (no helmets,) throwing and holding an American football, and there are hashes on the field. While talking about playing "matches" on the "pitch" instead of "games" on the "field." It really feels like the dev sold out his non-American football to switch over to having his characters playing a sport he really doesn't know well enough. I'm an American, but I take no offense and don't get confused when non-Americans refer to a different sport than what I think of first when I hear "football." Pick the sport you know, dev. Trying to change it to a sport you don't understand part way into the game (to appease potential patrons?) is not a good idea.

I decided to give this a go. When I clicked on "Start" I got a traceback error:

After I saw that line 127 added carlos_1.convo, I started to look at the file. The culprit was an extra comma after "reply,". I found one more in carlos_3.

Didn't anyone in your team test from the beginning with a fresh persistent?

Later edit: another traceback at script.rpy line 6772: $new_bubble_reply("HandsomeF", "[USER=4278746]ari[/USER] You're the perverted one.", "", 0, 0) HandsomeF => handsomeF. I handled it by overwriting the label in a file called "xx_overwritten_labels.rpy" in game/. The most important is to name the file alphabetically sorted after script.rpy. This way I didn't have to upload the whole script.rpy from the rpa archive.

Also, phone's chat feature has all convos listed under "placeholder".

btw, I'm using Linux if these bugs don't appear on Windows...

The way the author poses MC is really awkward. He always swings his shoulders forward like he's doing a douche-stride. MC is buff but comes across pretty down to earth so he wouldn't do the douchey gym walk.

Great update though. Love all the girls Meera and Susanne are wonderful nice personalities and beautiful.

Brother was with the bartender it looks like based on the ankle tattoo? I'm fine with there not being incest and I am not delicate enough to cry "NTR" if the sister hooks up or gets a boyfriend I just hope the voyeurism tag doesn't apply there cause I don't want to see her fucking.

I would like MC's backstory to not be teased for too much longer. It's hard to make decisions for an MC if you don't really know what's going on with them. This story of reverse dramatic-irony doesn't work in choice based novels IMO.

Hopefully also MC is not eternelly cock-blocked by Deus-ex-author trying to delay writing an H scene (either cause he's squeamish or some self absorbed sense of "this is artistic with adult elements!! not pornographic" - come on you're not HBO)

So what's the current theory on the ex-girlfriend?

She seems to either be named Julie or Julia. Suzanne almost said her name and then cut herself short.

She's not dead. You can also scroll back through the messages in the phone with Suzanne to see her mention that your ex wrote to her asking how you were doing.

I wouldn't think that Suzanne would be staying in touch with her if the ex had cheated on us, so what's so traumatizing about her leaving? Was he just super sad because he had dreams of a white picket fence fantasy with his highschool sweethart?

The main character jumped at the sound of breaking glass, but I don't know if that has to do with his ex or something else. Suzanne calls because she's afraid to be alone in the house after hearing noises, and Arianne mentions that there hasn't been any robberies in the neighbourhood for a while, which implies that they aren't a rare occurrence. So maybe they had a break in in the past. I also don't know where the father is in the story. I'm not sure if he's been mentioned and I just glazed over it or what.

Man, if Mina doesn't get a full route I'm gonna be upset. She's great. I am concerned the cast is getting really big, and we haven't even met the "Are you 18" girl yet. Maybe she's the ex?

Lastly, the brother needs to lose the Trump tan. He looks like an aged Ken doll as it is.

School story is so over used but at least it's got likable characters and some extremely hot women. I'm okay with a slow build but if the dev keeps blue balling us not going to be playing it much longer.

MC seems to have some PTSD regarding his alcoholic father. There were flashbacks, but they, and other things are quite easy to miss in this game since the dev uses timers for some slides and animations. If you are, like me, rather clicky, you can jump right over them and never know they were there.

Not only am I rather clicky, but I usually play with transitions off because I don't like watching one image slowly fade into the next almost identical image just so I can read a single new line of dialogue before getting another slow fade transition. I reloaded the scene where the bottle broke and sure enough a black and white flashback image appeared once I turned the transitions back on.

I guess I'll have to leave them on the next time I play the game.

Mine goes back to the main menu after the water dump and that's with this DL

Ok deleted it and downloaded from mega and it worked this time, I think it was the mod that was the problem
