Interesting take and improvisation on an existing 'tried and true' concept for Porn/fap-based HTML game
. I played (the online version, no download or offline play) exactly for that purpose (not for the story, actress, renders or any of that stuff; and probably other players played for the same reason too). I don't think anyone plays for the story
considering it is a the most commonly used incest narrative there is
, there is nothing new here.
Although there are some criticisms regarding the usage of randoms and pentitudes of different actresses on the movie clips and still photos (which breaks immersions for those players), I actually preferred it this way for a few reasons.
- There are just 3 women in the game (as far as Day 30 in my plathrough, possibly there are more). Using specific actresses for each females means just 3 pornstars, which basically means I could just look them up, search for the specific videos that match my preferences, download them and watch those instead of playing this. Unless of course, there is or are compelling stories in the game, then there is a good reason to play the game.
- I personally did not watch that many porn so I have limited database of porn actresses, so this game offers 'discoverability' of many more porn actresses especially since there is a link to pornhub page (and others) below every video clips and images (some of the 'unknowns' are really hot btw).
- It is a lot easier (and faster) to find many video clips and/or images that depicts specific act/scene than to find videos/images of a particular actress depicting the said act/scene. On the contrary, by limiting to specific actresses, usually the game narrative have to be changed to match the available scenes for that actresses.
- The video clips and images come in various dimensions (and proably format), which kinda give a 'variety' feeling to the game. Currently the size is random (just like the media itself), however it could potentially better if the size/dimension of the videos/images also provide a visual clue. For example, like normal repetitive event, the image should just be small (low/average quality), small gif instead of video clips maybe, so that they load faster consume less resources, while 'major' event have larger (higher quality) images, reasonable length (and size) video clipse etc.
- Finally, when the game is actually completed, the dev can then easily replaced all the stock photos and video clips with better ones (either of particular porn actresses, rendered images/videos etc.).
A bit of feedback (kinda quick review) regarding the game mechanics, UI and minigames:
- Generally the UI is very intuitive, I have no issue with it. The dev can always improve on it how he pleases.
- Minigames are generally good and (some are) enjoyable. The RNG is a bit annoying but it is expected.
- The events are generally 'repetitive' with increasing 'difficulty', which I think is normal. However, I noticed that the events are not evenly spread across the 5 time slots, so I have not figured out the 'best' use for each time slot. For example, events for Cassy are heavily skewed towards Evening which sometimes clashes with the Pam evening 'random' event.
- The point system (Affection, Lust, Hygiene, Fitness etc.) is pretty much straightforward, although sometimes confusing (maybe it is a bug) for example with Pam, her Lust which normally (in earlier days) increases after lewd actions, sometimes decreases (at later days) after lewd actions, but it is not a big deal because it not difficult to increase it again.
- There are bonus stuffs that are locked behind patron codes (perhaps gallery or longer videos) which I do not have access to but not a big deal for me. However, I think (just an opinion) that the dev probably better off with providing a 'preview'/'teaser' of those bonus stuffs so that players at least have a better idea what they are missing out. Ok, just found out that there is a 'Scene Preview' (whatever that is, perhaps scene preview of the next release) available for patrons if players have completed Pam and/or Cassy contents (as per v0.5).
