Traceback isn't gonna help me. I've went through it again and again, and for life of me I cannot comprehend the issue.

I will be extremely cautious going forward however, and make "SAVE HERE" spots. Or something, I need to ask someone with more experience than me.
I will begin from start again, more easy.
But i will wait for a more advanced version in the future, maybe a nine or ten version with more new content to play again, meanwhile i will keep my 0.6 version and saves on my porn games pc library.
Have lots of other games to play and advance meanwhile. ; )
Thx the replies.

Firstly, all in all I like the game. Just played through what was available now. Will be keeping an eye on this.
Interesting characters with real stories behind them, and some pretty good fantasy building IMO.

One thing that could do with some serious thought though, is the dialogue - It seems like the writing is intentionally trying to sound much fancier than it really is at times, with the (hopefully unintended) consequence of making it hard to follow from time to time. If the issue comes down to language skills, I'd personally prefer to see simpler language that carries the story forward, over complex writing that ends up working against it.

I do the best I can, so does the editor, and I firmly believe that.

It isn't perfect, it is what it is. I am not sure what else to say or add onto this... I try the best I can, and maybe it isn't enough... but it is all I have to give.

Well, like I said - I do still like the game, and will be following the progress. It's not a deal breaker for me at least, just more like constructive criticism.

I understand, and I appreciate it. I'll try to improve writing further, or, struggle? But I'll keep at it nonetheless. Best as time and ability allows me anyhow.

...since it is not a VN?
I find these kinds of comments confusing. In my understanding, VN means "Visual Novel". In 99% of cases (disregarding the 1% that are "Choose-your-own-adventure"), a novel is written in a linear fashion and it's on the reader to interpret in whichever way they see fit.
Therefore, wouldn't a visual novel simply be a novel with pictures?

Please excuse my ignorance, I'm not trying to start something, simply understand.

You're not alone with that take, although some are choose you own Adventure, to tell them apart , the ones wher your choices doesn't really matter are tagged with "linear Novel"
I personally see it like you described.

It should be, yes. This is what it is.

The non-linear part, only one that exists, in Elleria, is the war table. The choices that eventually impact the world state, both on political and another level. These choices are and will be reflected in narration and story.

But the story itself is set in stone. Everything that I will, eventually and planned to add, is what I personally deem QOL features. Such as I don't know, pick who visits Eliot's bed at night.

Nice to hear as that's the type I'm in the process of writing. Technically there will be two; I've written the first about 95% and it'll be a prologue of the 2nd (set roughly 15 years apart). Just daz fucking me around at this stage; I've only done about 2% of the visuals.
I've written 3 chapters of the 2nd, but have to keep editing them as I edit the prologue.

Haven't decided whether I'll offer more story splits in the main (2nd) game. I'm using the first one as the learning experience for daz, ren'py, AE, and all other aspects of making a game.

I take a LOT of inspiration from VN's like this one - story-centric with a touch of naughtiness.

This is game is more into the category of Kinetic Novel in terms of story outcome. The war table doesnt seem that it will affect the ending for now. Basically if the ending is predetermined it will fall to KN category.

KineticNovel (キネティックノベル, Kinetikku Noberu) is a brand of the Japanese software publishing company Visual Arts. The productions of the KineticNovel label are unlike other visual novels in that no choices are given to the player – they have only one possible outcome

Visual Novel -

A visual novel (VN) is a form of digital . Visual novels are often associated with the medium of , but are not always labeled as such themselves. They combine a textual narrative with static or animated illustrations and a varying degree of . The format is more rarely referred to as novel game, a retranscription of the term noberu gēmu (ノベルゲーム), which is more often used in Japanese.

Visual novels originated in and are especially prevalent in , where they made up nearly 70% of the titles released in 2006. In Japanese, a distinction is often made between visual novels (NVL, from "novel"), which consist primarily of narration and have very few interactive elements, and (AVG or ADV, from "adventure"), which incorporate problem-solving and other types of gameplay. This distinction is normally lost outside Japan, as both visual novels and adventure games are commonly referred to as "visual novels" by international fans.

Generally VN, have some sort of branching in terms of story or some sort of interactivity/impacts on ending/story. This is already a standard set in Japan where this genre originated from.

Thanks for this. Clears it up nicely.

Oh, I wasn't talking about Ellaria in particular, I was refering to generally AVN's, anyway good thing is that you pointed this special feature out, just to answer to other players, who will ask the same question, I was aware as how the task asignment is structured.
There is another great title out there, where similar to yours the ending is set, but not the way to achieve it, the thing what I see in comon is that the average player struggles a bit with this concept, that leads to similar discussions like the one you have expierenced with the Elf character.
Keep it up and Thank youuuu by the way loved the Jana part of this last chapter ! looking exited forward to chapter 3

"It’s in the hearts of those who tremble that true courage awakens, rising fierce and unyielding when it’s most needed. But tonight is not a time for fear; tonight is for boldness, for the beauty of risk. So I will ask you instead—will you take my hand and share this dance with me?"
