I cant believe 1 person said that they don't like it and that's why he abandoned it instantly, or unless he was looking for a reason to stop on the first release cause how time consuming it is.
That's a false dichotomy. Those are not the only two options.
Just because you only see one post, that does not mean that's the only negative feedback the developer has received. There may be deleted posts, there may be direct messages, he could have been active on Discord or other forums online and be harassed there. The options are pretty much endless.
The point is, we don't know the full story, so how about we try to show some compassion?
