so, its not the same as netorare/netori.
the endgame depends on the story and characters, but lets say we have an mc and his girlfriend/wife.
the perfect ending would be:
mc + the nerdy friend (a friend of the mc, that can be ugly, nerdy, obese, old etc) is now living in the same household together with mc's girlfriend/wife that are being shared, in a romantic and longterm polyamories relationship.
and the end-text saying that they will continue exploring and experimenting together but always respect and cherish each other.

I don't like the typical pathetic or male NTR character who just "allows" it to succeed, and then somehow still has a relationship with her. True, but I usually only play NTR games because it's the closest I can find. Usually Netorase interests me the most, but then I always wonder after all is said and done why anyone would want the used goods back when you can get better fresher goods. Plus I guess what I'm trying to say is that a preferred NTR end for me is to have a good end for the player and a bad end for the girl. I agree that my ending might not be very NTR-y but I definitely like a good NTR (netorase) gameplay until the ending.

The way I read the definition. willingly sharing your girlfriend even if it's through prostitution is still NTR. That being said there's definitely a different emotion involved in that sequence compared to when you are emotionally invested in the relationship, but the girl is cheating.

Sharing your SO is NTR is its definition for sure. It more or less lines up with netorase as opposed to netori aand netorare that you normally see. I honestly prefer to see more netorase since it lines up with our own fantasies but I guess it's definitely a sub-category within the NTR genre in general.

I honestly prefer to opposite approach. I'd honestly look for a game where the MC could continue to share her without it absolutely destroying their relationship. I'm assuming such games aren't made because it would really only support a niche group (I'm included) within the NTR genre. For me, the rewarding experience was the whole journey with the wife from where I was only her second sexual partner to where she is now and living with it comfortably while occasionally sharing her with my best friend.

I guess in looking for a game similar to that, I'm hoping to re-live some of that experience. The whole destroying the girl narrative works I guess... if you don't like women or just get off that kind of thing but I think for most NTR people, you'd want something stable that lasts while remembering you also still love this girl.

I don't share my girl often since my best friend lives out of state but whenever he visits it's like cocaine to our sex life. We're in our mid/late 20s so life is good and fine without it but it's definitely a kick to the lusty side of the brain that keeps us fucking for months straight at times.

I have no idea how there is no category for wife sharing where the husband is not cucked (aka made a loser). Maybe swinging, but swinging usually involves couples, and the ntr I see here is usually husband having a small dick and the wife and the bull making fun of him.
I have seen many porn where the wife teases strangers (ex jeny Smith) and lets them grope her (ex exhibitionist Heather) but has sex with the husband only. How come there is no category for such in porn games, it is just frustrating. I would love to pay for such a game if it happens. It's a niche category that gets gummed up when people go running around calling everyone a cuck or cuckold like how people use NTR to cover a bunch of different things. We have a word for it "hotwifing" but it's also a really stupid term which is prob why it doesn't spread too well but everyone will know what hotwifing is if they're interesting in sharing their wife at all. One of the best NTR game is TAC and it is very good because the Alpha MC loves to watch his wife fucked by others and partecipate in the sex action.. the game is ongoing and maybe after completing there will be an episode 2.
I do not like games where the MC is a loser and his girlfriend get stolen by others... this is not NTR... it just a Cuckold loser.
I Like Katie Corruption where her boyfriend is loser but he is not the MC ... so he deserve to be a loser but Katie is the MC and she is not a loser at all. I really like female protagonist games.
Unfortunately the bad of Katie story it comes premature endings but the plot before the endings are very good.

There are dozens of types of NTR in manga, honestly. But there are three primary, the ones I listed. If this forum says netori is your cheating definition, then this forum is wrong per the accepted definition everywhere else.
