As Russian, I must say that this is an inappropriate reason. Especially when you have fucking 2000 bucks per month and easily can leave any of these countries with your families and do you job.
I mean, had you read through their threads here you would have found out really quickly that they are scammers.

and then it goes to this scene.
Nah, anything less than a [Completed] mark for this doesn't seem worth the attention

Tbh, i wasn't about to read 8 to 9 pages filled with 100 comments each to know if devs i had no suspicions about were scammers
So, instead of taking 10 minutes of your time to scroll through a few pages of comments, you just... gave them your money right away? Are you the kind to buy something online without even reading the reviews?
No personal attack, I just never thought people could risk their money like that. It's like not looking both ways before crossing the road.

I guess? Lots of russian and ukranian porn devs slowed down or stopped their projects during that time. I don't really give a fuck about this dev in particular, it's just a trend I've noticed.

Well, why would i if i didn't had any reason to suspect them to begin with ? Contrary to buying something online, i could play the whole game up to the point of the current update, it felt good enough to want more, at that moment the reviews weren't realy mentioning anything about the very slow flow of updates, so i went to support them
If the game and the reviews are good, why would i go through the trouble of reading the comments on top of that when half of the first page is memes ?

For a few months, maybe even for half a year - yes. Especially if you're from Ukraine.
It hit me hard as well, so bad that I'm on antidepressants. But I don't find any excuses for not making your job properly for $2k per month.
In Ukraine, men cannot leave the state border, this is unfortunately true
