from what was written in the patreon posts, each LI is going to have 3 possible endings- new world, old world and variant. each guy has a default ones if it is not changed in your gameplay. britt never saw himself as a girl in any of the chapters, so saying that he is going to end up as a woman in the relationship is harsh.
Damn ur on fire. Giving off one good point after another. Based on what I datamined as well (I'm sorry I can't shut up about it), these endings are probably about the paths. These paths have almost little to do with Britt's gender (or who Britt is to them) and more about the captain's storylines (or who the Captain will be at the end of the story). This could basically just be 2 or 3 worth of lines and utmost 2 special CGIs after C9.

Maybe it has some impacts every now and then about the game (such as C4's Civil War or C5 Confidence Borge declining a runka), but the game is carefully structured not to make any changes that are too drastic to avoid bugs. Renpy is a pretty rudimentary engine after all.

The best example for this is actually Jostein. Bringing Filippa to Alfheimr on C5 barely has any effect on Jostein's storyline because one way or another, she's always gonna get sick in C6 ending. If she's in Himinbjorg, the cold is gonna get her. If she's in Alfheimr, it's the baby.

They did this because whether or not Filippa: (1) is well, (2) sick/miscarriage, or (3) dead, then the devs would be obligated to make at least 5 new Jostein events for each possibility moving forward from C7 to C9. That's 15 events per chapter, wherein players can only really view 5 per playthrough. But that's not what they did. Doing so would be too laborous for a pretty scarce payoff.

My point is, the devs making Britt trans for a few paths is highly unlikely cause they would basically have to double their amount of code. I guess they can make Britt trans in the main storyline (not just something that will be triggered because Jostein is too straight), but that would completely close off Kirk's and Ralf's romance paths + just mess up the narrative. Again, more problems.

I get that all these rising sentiments is really just a complex frustration that the game is not designed to be masc4masc. And on that point, I agree with poplo440's point that it doesn't suffice to label this as a "gay game". However, it is for a different reason. The worldbuilding and lore has evolved beyond making this a simple wank material. All these discourse on how femme Britt should be hardly matters to me in contrast to the plot.

Lastly, the itch description does explicitly say "for LGBT adults" and "If you are looking for porn, you may not like this game". It does say "Boys' Love" and "Gay" in the tags but I reckon it's for SEO purposes. This game is still pretty gay after all – just a really complex metamodern type of gay.

In CH6 Persuasive Quest - Elder Geir, is there a way to end up de conversation without the "I never want to see you again" dialogue? BC he is just hot as hell!! haha even enthralling (lvl8) ends up there and Yes i opted for the Seidr full three to see if I can take advantage of that, still waiting for it to happen.

Also haven't been able to complete understand this: I read that Anders, Jostein and Jorgen are PIUS

Pius with Valkires Tree looks for:
Jostein - Save women and unburn
Anders - FACE JORMUNDGANDR AND END JOTNAR TREAT
(They both seem to increase with Gut Choices Making Freyja your best selection for the tree)

But Jorgen seems to grow more with Passionate Choices which kinda makes sense as he is more inclined to Save Families at the Alpines but that will make in a Progesive with a preference for the Seidr Tree? Or a Valkyrie with Charm stats as Priority?

Does this kind of Decisions are really deeply implied in the game or i am just way to much OVERTHINKING?

Unfortunately, there's nothing else in the C6 script. You either convince him or die. No in between.

Their moral inclination (pious, etc.), primary stat (admiration, etc.), and dialogue choices (passionate, etc.) don't really have direct connections. It's mostly situational and contextual as to why some dialogue choices raise specific stats, but sometimes I guess they do coincide with moral inclinations. The moral inclination thing is I guess one of the unpolished parts of the game.

It says in C3 guide that Progressives/Pragmatists (Henrik, Ralf, & Erland) are the ones focused on saving the Alpines. But these guys hardly have any connection to it. I guess Henrik cares a bit, but Ralf doesn't particularly seem close with his parents, and I do remember that Erland deadass explicitly said that aiming to live in the Alpines is overrated.

At most, they only really used it to create new divisions in C4. (Pious = Fjord, Progressive/Pragmatist = Undercity, Idealists = Caverns) They might do something more with in the future, perhaps polish it a bit more when releasing full game, but as of now idk.

Yeah I only see Ralf on the Progresive/Pragmatist side for developing the Cure along with Jostein, Erland working on the Tunnels seems more inclined to the Save Everyone Path unless their Security/Adversity Path has something to do with it or your Romancing them makes a difference. I see Jorgen more inclined to Save the Alpines as he was on the Family Matters Quests but so far Guides will be needed at least to understand the path/ending you are trying to achieve, one wrong choice in any chapter starting at 4 can make a total difference specially if you are looking the stats for the God's Blessings, taking care of the standings and the polical matters, it will get really messy if it turns out they are all connected lol

Yes, you are absolutely right. It's a game whose main focus is on farming, crafting and later on rpg elements. I also don't think anyone should play this game for the romances, because they are also not that intense and it takes a long time until you see something of your LI's path. It's more like Dragon Age badly compared, an adventure game with homoerotic content and a let's say untraditional love with some men.

I have already seen the confusion, apparently the protagonist does not transition gender, something I appreciate, since at no time does he imply that he does not feel comfortable as a man. I hope that when the game is complete they remove the relationship simulator tag thing because honestly 80/90% of the game is grinding and do quests related to the story, no love story. The game will be a bit gay, but almost all the sexual relationships shown in the game are between a man and a woman or orgies. It is homoerotic not gay, I understand that for the sake of reaching more people through the tags as you say, they sell it as boys love, but seeing a handjob between two men in 80 hours of gameplay and in that same period of time have seen 5 or more sexual relations between man and woman, orgies etc, I don't know. The main character is gay that's true, but the main plot is not based on relationships, it's like if they sell you Mass Effect as a relationship simulator, because you can have a relationship with a teammate if you feel like it.

I don't care if there is explicit sex or not, I'm not looking to jerk off playing this kind of videogames, I'm more interested in the relationships between characters and what they make you feel, that things that make you say, damn, I wish I could live something like that. What I've played so far, it's not just that I don't feel that way, but I feel sorry for even Britt, he's more miserable in love than I am, at least he balances it out by being some kind of demigod haha.

I want to emphasize that my review is from chapter 3 onwards, which is when the LI is established, chapters 1 and 2 made me be addicted to the video game and are true to what they say on their itch.io page. I honestly gave up the game at chapter 5, because it is not worth everything you have to do to see any progress in your route because the route ceases to be important due to the main plot, and to play an RPG I have Divinity which is super long and fun.

All this aside, the game is very good and I'm glad they are managing to finish the project with the support they have gotten.

Edit: When I'm talking about relationships, im referring to love relationships no friendships.

The game is definitely not a visual novel, so who approaches it hoping for that will inevitably be disappointed. There's crafting, combat, puzzles, time management, and of course it's very much story driven with a lot of branching from the end of chapter 2, but playing just to get the scenes like you would do in a visual novel won't really work.
Still, I wouldn't say that relationships play a secondary part -they are rather central to the whole game.

Personally I found chapter 1 and partially chapter 2 especially boring because it's really just grinding (at least in ch2 they introduce combat, but it's rather guided like on a rail) and there's really little eye candy in terms of erotic scenes, but that linearity had some charm and of course it was new and impressive visually and in world-building, so you get over that nicely. The latest chapters become more complex, but at least you see more sex and the story is rather interesting with directions you don't expect. Occasionally frustrating though, sure.

Hey I hope Im not misrepresenting your argument, but who are you romancing lol, and how far are you. Because, there is sex between men and men with like 100% of the cast. I understand the grind part lol, but other than that. This game is hella gay, you just gotta understand its not conventional gay with like 40% of the men (pls tell me if I read this wrong lol)

Hi guys, does anyone know what happened in this new version, my saves are all giving errors, I had the greatest patience to put them with each character with sexual events on a separate save page, can anyone tell me how to solve it, because starting from scratch no one deserve.

I just downloaded this new one, v6.18, I was playing v0.5.23 until then everything was working, I went into memories and saw everything, then I got bored and played other things, then I downloaded this and put the save folder from v0.5.23 in v6.18 and it doesn't open any, not even the memories, everything is bugged.
I press ignore and it starts from scratch.

Honestly, I haven't played the game for quite some time because the grinding is excessive and the route I have chosen is horrible, Jostein's route. It is true that I have read that in the other routes there are more sexual interactions, so my opinion is based on Jostein's route. I have played gay games just as slow as this one but the romanticism of the route I chose is terrible. I'll pick up the game in a few months maybe, when I feel like grind for 10 hours to unlock a scene where Jostein cries for his wife or when I don't mind starting a new and more interesting route from scratch, which I'm sure they all do.
I repeat myself for the fifteenth time, the game is good, at no time I say it is bad, it has many things that can be improved and unfortunately I have chosen a terrible route at the beginning when it should surely be the last one a player has to choose.

Hell, I've even played games with no sexual content and based purely on romance, so the sex thing is the least of my concern.
