Hmm, I would think that they are all connectet.

Btw: I don´t think I have seen actual scenes where Ashe is using since Chapter 2, am I right? I wonder if there was any backlash about the dev showing too much. Does anyone know?

(Not that I think it is necessary to show it all the time. It´s already established that she does and that is all that´s important.)

Anything in excess is detrimental, it's a little worrying that Ashe uses it all the time to deal with her anxiety, but I guess it's not so bad as to suck dick for some weed.

Although this gives me an idea to differentiate the Kitty path from the Siren path, what if Ashe Kitty, being weak-willed, becomes more dependent on drugs to the point of doing sexual things to obtain them?

On the other hand, with Ashe Siren, she manages to overcome her dependence on drugs to deal with her anxiety since she is stronger in character.

It would be an excellent way to give more unique differences to both paths.

Feels a little 'arm-chair psych' to conflate submissive with weak-willed addict, and dom as 'heal your mental illness through positive thinking.' The preference for ordering people around, or slapping some asses does not equal 'stronger in character.' Mental problems, and especially addiction, can run rough-shod over people you would have assumed would be immune.

I'd prefer them not to try and address it, rather than do so poorly and disconnected from those types of tropes.

Not sure what I can say about this game except that its fantastic. I curse my empathy every time I play games with some gut wrenching situations or drama and this did not disapoint.

The only downside is that now that I finished current content, I need to wait for months to get the next fix.

I can only wish the best for MorriganRae . Love your game <3

Hey everyone

A bit of a shorter post this week, since there's not too much to report.

I've had a pretty busy week and it sometimes can be tricky for me to get in the right headspace to write after a long day's work. I still managed to write a bunch, but not quite as much as I would've liked to. I'll see if I can catch up a bit on the weekend .

I've also worked on something a little different from what you've seen in EI so far. Something that could almost be described as a mini game. But before you start to panic: No, I won't make you do slide puzzles or sudoku or anything like that . It's much more narratively focused and should hopefully fit in nicely with the rest of the story. There's also the option to progress even if you lose (maybe you'll even want to lose ), or avoid the whole thing entirely. So don't get your titties in a twist .

Other than that, I can't tell you much without spoiling. Expect a bunch of familiar faces at the party (and of course a bunch of unfamiliar ones too), and some unique opportunities to get to know them better...

Alright, back to writing!

This sounds equally terrible and exciting :D

I am not a Fan of gameplay elements in a VN at all. On the other hand I trust the dev that the implementation will be done very well.

I totally understand that the dev might want to switch things up as they are clearly pretty creative and the "normal VN" formula seems to not do it any more for them now the Workflow has settled in after a few updates.

So I guess it is a good thing they keep development fresh for themselves.

I just Hope that the majority of the content will still only require one hand to operate.

Looking forward to the new stuff!

It can suit at least some porn games, "X-Change Life" is just one of examples. But usually game needs experience or skill mechanics, while in narrative based Renpy it doesn't make much sense. Perhaps failure or success in those minigames will trigger different story re-routes and extra scenes as results?

I don't know how it's going to fit here, but after accommodation of fight mechanics to sexual context in "Karryn's Prison", I hold any premature criticism of adapting game mechanics wrongly, because who knows, maybe dev knows better and that's going to be fun for some reason.

That means, she has agenda, like; she tries to put wedge between Fiona and Ashe by tarnishing her sisters reputation of someone, who can't keep secrets. Since we know, we can try to go into relationship with Fiona, Delilah may want to stop it from happening on early stage. It doesn't mean she's a blackmailer, since that still may be something independent of her and her schemes.

I guess, Ashe as duplo will be in the centre of many different Machiavellian shit brewing around. She should listen to Banshee and learn greater truth behind all that.
