Yea I agree - it just seems to me that Ashe is kinda being strung along here and there, but she is starting to mature bit by bit based on the interactions that she has with the other characters in her life. I think eventually Ashe will start to get more of the ability to form her own decisions and opinions based on her key interactions thus far - and therefore be able to decide for herself where she wants to progress given the scenarios she's been exposed to thus far.

Yeah I mean it sort of has to happen sometime soon, and who knows, maybe this party will be the tipping point again given that we know that something will go down and Bella is involved again. Game is called 'Eruption Imminent' and the last time Ashe had to deal with Bella, she fucking exploded. The party might just be the catalyst here, given how much attention the dev is giving it and how integral it seems to be to the continuing story.

The party's gonna be a big turning point in the story - I feel like a lot of shit's gonna go down then, and some big choices to make that would greatly impact the narrative and also the character interactions between Ashe and her friends moving forward in the plot.

We're coming up on the 2 year anniversary of the game starting, I imagine the blackmail plot is at least 1+ years old, and the last update is ~5 months old. That's a lot of time for basically every theory to get put out there and be discussed in cycles.

Delilah is too obvious of a red-herring to be the ultimate blackmailer to me, but I am fairly confident she is involved. How much she knows and when she knew it are up in the air though.

Yup, which is the key to why I think Victoria (Delilah's other mother) is the culprit. Who could get Delilah to do anything against her first love, crush, and obsession? Someone she trusts and believes when they say it's all for Ashe's (and Delilah's) good, in the long term. So, family. But we know Kate and Fiona, and they are easily the worst suspects to be the blackmailer, so the off-screen Victoria jumps right to the front of the queue!

My theory is that Victoria has a hidden camera in the bedroom to watch and make sure Kate isn't cheating. It's been stated several times she's not home a lot. And the worst offenders for making sure others aren't cheating on them are cheaters. So during Ashe's romp with Zoey, she would've seen that Ashe is a duplo. Having Delilah involved in it would make sense. Plus, if there was a recording, I'm sure Victoria would've used it to make Delilah jealous knowing how much Delilah is in love with Ashe. Then again, perhaps Delilah has a hidden camera in there to watch her mothers having sex to learn things and saw what happened and got upset. Fiona said Delilah isn't completely right in the head. Crazy women do crazy things. Fatal Attraction anyone? In the end, only MorriganRae knows. We'll have to stay tuned in to find out!

Hm, i haven't even considered Victoria since she's never there but if she has hidden camera setup in her bedroom or something like that it would make sense. But for certain its someone from that family, why else would the message be sent to Ashe only mere moments after she had sex for the first time? If we're going by that logic, it's more reasonable to think that Delilah saw something, went "oh shit she's a duplo, what do I do?" and texted someone she trusted, in that case being Victoria. That is if we're assuming Victoria is the blackmailer.

I think the chick planning to drop Elysium in the party is that content creator Vanessa and Ashe bumped into on their date, Vanessa and her seemed to have some major beef behind the scenes.
That being said, it is a LOT of Elysium and apparently that shit is hella expensive and hard to get, which makes me think that whoever that is either has a lot of connections or is very high up herself so it might be someone from Vanessa's past. Basically I don't think that person is out to fuck over Ashe either way and it might not be that content creator either unless she's a part of a rich family (which might be why Vanessa and her has beef, they might've been friends a long time ago and fell apart).

I'm still putting my money on the blackmailer being someone we haven't met yet at all, none of the characters we've been introduced to makes sense in the context, and I think it has to be someone that either knows Ashe or knows Delilah and her family given that she'll have to be connected to them in order to make any of this work.


But yeah, it's definitely a pretty interesting, albeit annoying storyline.

It's a possibility, but I think Kate would've mentioned it to Ashe at some point in that case. I mean Ashe is a bundle of neurotic anxiety, Kate would've most likely said something along the lines of "don't worry, me and Victoria have a special kind of relationship" since I think she knows Ashe enough to know that she is super anxious about shit.

Also, wouldn't Kate have mentioned a camera to Ashe in that case since she was caught with Zoey in that bed? Kate doesn't strike me as the type of person who would be alright with essentially spying on an innocent couple/hookup without saying anything.

Who do you think could pull Delilah's strings about Ashe?

Ashe is Delilah's ideal waifu, she's had a crush/been obsessed for years. She lies to get closer to Ashe, to support her. I don't see anyone being able to use blackmail or coercion on her to betray Ashe even a little. On the bus and in the park, Delilah seemed a bit nervous, maybe a smidge guilty about lying to Ashe, but I didn't see any major internal conflict or shame. My read was that she believed in what she was doing, she was just jumpy and bad at smoothly lying. But in know way did Delilah feel like she was betraying or hurting Ashe. Which suggests to me that she doesn't have a complete picture of what's going on, and she believes she's supporting Ashe in some roundabout way.

It is a bit thin at this point. Especially since Kate seems a upset Victoria is away so long (often?) and maybe there's some distance building up.
