A lot of people are saying that Delilah is the blackmailer, but I don't think so, personally I think it's Jessica (Vanessa's bimbo 'mother'). The MC didn't start getting blackmailed until after that disastrous dinner, and while Jessica might not hold any specific ill will toward the MC she does view the MC poorly (both as a poor girl gold digger and Vanessa's supposed girlfriend). And considering the MC's relationship with Vanessa, a girl that Jessica hates with a passion, she would see the MC as an easy target through which to hurt Vanessa and have some bonus fun on the side (primo bimbo thinking). Also I bet Moira (a rich and politically powerful woman) ran an extensive background check on the MC before and after the dinner, and Jessica being Moira's partner would have access to that information and any resources used to gain that information (things like hidden cameras in Vanessa's house)... anyway it's all just theory but pretty plausible imo...

The biggest critiques of that I'd have are, 1) Delilah seems to be connected to the blackmailer, and knows too much. How would she get roped in by Jessica? 2) Jessica seems like she'd be a lot crueler as a blackmailer, and I don't think we see that.

Delilahs actions still could be completely unrelated to the blackmail. This theory imho would fit in the way Morrigan was telling the story so far and has It's charme (as well as others ).

I am still curious when the big reveal will come.

Yeah, it does feel like the reveal is a ways off, though I'd prefer it was over sooner and could focus on the growth after that. But unless chapter 7 is at x4 speed, it likely won't come till chapter 8 or 9.

I agree it was probably Delilah that brought the package to Ashe's house, and has probably done other things to assist the blackmail plot.

What I think you're missing though is I don't think Delilah would ever try and hurt Ashe, and would rebel against anyone that tried to make her. Ashe is Delilah's puppy love, and first adult love. As Fiona points out, she's a bit obsessed. On the bus she makes it clear (too clear) to Ashe that she supports Ashe no matter what (her Duplo status). So far, all we have seen of Delilah is that she is a terrible liar. To Ashe, to Kate. It's not her skill set.

That leads me to the conclusion that Delilah thinks what she's doing with the blackmail plot (and she could be being lied to, though I believe it's just being framed in a positive light) will help Ashe. She likely doesn't know all the details, though I think the blackmailer shared the naughty photos with her. Her motivations seem like a mix of pure benevolence and helpfulness, and a naughty horny satisfaction.

This is essentially the crux of why I think the only person who could convince her to act this way towards Ashe is someone she loves and trusts just as much. Someone in her family. And by process of elimination, Fiona and Kate are out. So...Victoria. An off screen presence that can act through texts to both Ashe and her daughter.

Episode 6 - Progress Report #17
Hey everyone
I've been back working on renders for the last week. Progress is trickling along.
Here's what we got so far:

• Writing: 100%
• Coding: 90%
• Environments: 75%
• New Characters: 7/7
• Background Characters: 18/40
• Renders: 14%

I'm currently working on the last scene of that first part and hoooo boy, it's a big one . Tons of little and big variations in there that depend on your earlier choices and your route. It'll be fun to see with which scene variation you players go with. Oh, and it's plenty naughty, so you can also get excited for that .
I'm still fidgeting around with the background characters, and their downscaling and such. Depending on when the storyline resolves, but I don't think we'll get one. Ashe is currently just entirely fine with getting stressed out of her mind with how much shit she's dealing with and she'll probably still be full doormat on Kitten etc until atleast chapter 10 or so. We're 5 chapters in and she's yet to have really any character development towards being more confident or taking less shit.
So if we're getting a blackmail resolution within 1 or 2 updates (i.e chapter 7/8), I'm guessing that it will get resolved by either Vanessa or someone else and that it will be pretty anticlimactic for the viewer, would definitely fit with how brutal it's been for Ashe thus far.

Not really counting Siren because that section is just a complete crapshoot as to what you'll get, it definitely feels like it's the route with the least thought behind it, as in it feels like the game is set up for a Kitten canonical route and then Siren is just kind of winging it in order to make it 'fit' within the Kitten scenes.

Do you mean you expect Ashe to be more assertive and dominant on the kitten route? I don´t know if you really can expect this as this route seems to be intended to be just as what it is. I don´t see any hints yet and frankly no need to steer away from the way she is portrayed now.

I mean given that the dev outright noted that it's more akin to a 'coming into their own' story and Ashe is supposedly going to get more sure of herself and more assertive, I would assume that also applies to Kitten as Kitten isn't supposed to be "I am a doormat, please use me however you see fit and throw me away" type deal like it is right now.

Of course, the dev might have just changed their mind since then, but I also think a lot of the playerbase will be a bit irked if Ashe just continues to get fucking plowed both psychologically and physically by everything in the game without any say/any way to retaliate. It's already been a fairly frequent complaint in this thread since chapter 2 so uh, yeah. There is a pretty large range between 'doormat' and 'GIGACHAD BIG CUMS', believe it or not.
