I hadnt been here in a while, glad to see this fucker is still posting monthly wallpapers pretending like he is still actively working on this game.
Thanks for sharing. I stopped supporting him since he is obviously a scammer. It was my favorite game and it deserved a better owner....

he abandoned the game cuz he was 'losing money' to piracy... way to show them... His decision cost him upwards of a 100k, considering zero growth, but as he was one of the lucky ones to garner an audience before the market saturated its safe to say that he could have made at least 500k....

It's worth noting that there is the Patreon's cut and the cost of opportunity of losing whatever his full-time job is now to take into consideration; but I agree he was possibly going to make more money in the long run and that losing this game is a shame.
I mean 2k a month in passive income for an indie adult game is nothing to scoff at. Just imagine if he 10x that, he could quit his day job if he wanted. His loss really.
If he had finished the game, he could have sold it on Steam and other platforms for even more income.
What do you mean passive... lol, making this stuff is a full time job, potentially more.
When I mentioned "passive income," I was thinking about the recurring revenue from subscribers which, once the game is established, can feel somewhat passive compared to the initial development phase. But I understand that ongoing updates, community engagement, and other tasks mean it’s far from truly passive.

I think the term "scam" comes into it because the Dev is still presenting this game on his patreon page like it is being actively worked on and developed. And the monthly wallpapaer updates help to perpetuate this false narrative.
I am not a patron, but I don't see a scam here.
The latest news for dev's patreon for the last couple of years seem only to cover wallpapers.
Nevertheless any new patron will get access to discord server, the current version of the game and the wallpapers (depending on support level), so they get a lot of content for the first month. It's up to patreons to read the dev news and decide on their own how to spend their money ... they are all adults.
