Ye the models aren't bad it's just in comparison to games like Eternum and all the other top ones.

Thanks for the brief though, that does sound good and as long as the story and dialogue are well done it's not a problem. Definitely gonna check it out. Animation is important too so appreciate the heads up on that. Shoulda checked it out a while ago i guess lol.

The models and animation don’t look as good on the surface because PC uses the Honey Select 1 engine whereas Eternum uses the more refined HS2. Despite this, I’d say PC takes the capabilities of HS1 to the absolute limit and it still looks just as good imo. And you’ve already read from others about how good the writing is.

Stellar game, and most importantly, really fucking hot.

Doubly unnecessary but I want to chime in and echo the above endorsement. I am honestly not wild about the honey select style in general but find these three games (eternum, ripples, and pale carnations) to be the exception (and hold out hope to discover more in future). Find the graphics in all of them to be really great. And in the case of pale carnations, in addition to everything that's been said about the story, writing, and characters (it's unusual, and really compelling) I honestly find it to be one of the hottest or maybe even the hottest AVN I've played despite 1) not really loving the brothel concept and 2) not loving honey select as I say. It's a combination of how the characters are rendered (the expressions are extremely varied / detailed / sexy) and how they / the sex scenes are written (great build up / teasing / character development / hot situations, and then the pay-off / lewd scenes themselves are extremely well-executed and you're offered a lot of flavour options).

Luna's dad being ok with his daughter being part of a harem seems highly optimistic, I'm hoping it'll be the case, but part of me is feeling a death coming

I'm not too worried about Luna's father. He will see that Orion and company are good for Luna. He might scare Orion with one of his pranks, but more than that? I doubt it.

I feel like these games are pretty light-hearted for the most part, and if there's any conflict with someone it'll probably sort itself out in the same conversation. It would be interesting, but given the light-hearted atmosphere of the game, I doubt that will happen. But hey maybe cari surprises us. There is a hint of it, given the fact that all hook ups with girls so far habe been very noncommittal. With the girls specifically saying that it doesn't mean anything.
But Annie being the one exception, with them being properly dating and everything.

And like I said, Mr. Hernandez might end up challenging Orion to fisticuffs but if he sees that the harem is pretty much a mutual thing (that being the girls know about each other and are okay with it) and not Orion being some sort of womanizer who cheats behind everyone's back then he'll probably be a bit more understanding with it, especially if Luna tells him that she doesn't mind sharing.

I feel like with Annie it's going to lead to a heart-to-heart with the rest of the girls (probably after a fight with Orion after she finds out he's doing stuff with the other girls or a moment in the game where every LI is in the same room) - which will likely be a more dramatized/tear-jerky version of Judie and Lauren's talk prior to the final showdown in OIAL - and ending with all of them affirming their love for Orion and ultimately deciding to share him with one another...

...and then it goes downhill from there once they start arguing about schedules and who gets to be with Orion in what day and all of that.

If that happens the game would lose its light hearted atmosphere and I feel like the light hearted drama free atmosphere is a big reason why this game is special. Is it worth ruining that just for a longer character arc with Annie? I dont think it is. I think the only drama elements should come from main plot progression. Character drama is fine but only when dealing with bad guys (such as Alex/William). Drama between the love interests would make the game a lot worse for me personally.

In OIAL, there was a decently long confrontation scene between the two sisters that was subtlety comedic, but the rest of it was pretty glossed over. The mother was supportive of having sex with the sisters. I think it will be similar here, with a confrontation between Hernandez and the MC.

The protein bagels vs brownies could be a teaser of a coming clash between them. If it happened, I'm sure it would still be more comedic than hostile, but it could be great.
