Still, he has zero reason to suspect his godlike bullet dodging abilities will work outside (quote unquote) Eternum...I could be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure they didn't pull the gun until after he turned his back.
Actually he does have reason to suspect it will, as it did once or twice already. I don't have the screens at end right now but from what I remember:Still, he has zero reason to suspect his godlike bullet dodging abilities will work outside (quote unquote) Eternum...
Wait, when does he says that? First thing he said to me was about champagneSince we mentioned Nikolay, someone has probably already translated those, but here is my version:
"Границы России нигде не заканчиваются" - Russia's borders "do not end anywhere" - a reference to Putin's old speech, source with english subtitlesYou must be registered to see the links
Can't find the screenshot rn,but afair,it was during Nancy's yoga session. And the line about champagne was much later during Dalia's competitionWait, when does he says that? First thing he said to me was about champagne
Doubt it. Voice acting is really hard to do well, and tends to be very expensive. Most AVNs are done by small teams relying mostly on donations, selling subscriptions, or selling copies. For something like Eternum it would be very difficult.Anyone knows if Caribdis thought about implementing it in the future maybe?
Well...give AI voices a few more years...Basically said the equivalent of "If I can't hire Hollywood-tier voice acting for the main cast*, then no."

*Tho he's fine with hiring voice actors for minor roles like Isaac back in 0.4 and The Narrator back in 0.7
Yep, it was a memorable lesson to Orion that overconfidence can get him and those close to him killed. That even the seemingly weakest opponents can be deadly if he's too cocky. He's gotten stronger and faster, but he's not Superman, bullets won't just bounce off him.To show that no matter how powerful you are, being an overconfident asshole is always dangerous.
I would turn it off imediately. Esp if it included sexy time.I didn't realize how much good voice acting would improve a VN
What's stopping him is a Patreon poll a few years back where the majority of his subs voted for meatier/lengthier updates over smaller but more sporadic updates. Doing what you're suggesting is basically reneging from that, so...yeah, no.Seeing as how the update will include events past the current area, what's stopping the dev from releasing that area alone and the end of the update is when he leaves, instead of taking a year to release each update? Last I saw progress was at 68% after 7 months?

Also, that's assuming there will be no concurrent things happening with the rest of the cast. What's stopping him is a Patreon poll a few years back where the majority of his subs voted for meatier/lengthier updates over smaller but more sporadic updates. Have you played FreshWomen's update where they added voice acting? Not sure when they added it, didn't scroll through the change-log. It's surprisingly good, to the point where it's on par with above average modern cartoons. Considering the amount of money they're making, and how few VA they need to employ I guess they didn't need to skimp on talent.Doubt it. It's still not worth it.Have you played FreshWomen's update where they added voice acting? Not sure when they added it, didn't scroll through the change-log. There's also the fact that the game is just too far into it's story that any sort of VA added at this point would be a monumental task, as the VAs will have to voice 8 patches (9 if you count the upcoming one) worth of dialogue (and that's a pretty big ask). Not to mention a lot of people already have imagined voices that they use for the characters, so adding a VA that sounds different to how they imagined it will just be a big turn-off.It's still not worth it.
For every person like you, there's someone like me. I intensely dislike a lot of VA. The only company that ever got it right was the one that did Xenoblade and FFXIV for Monolith and Square Enix.
When I was playing the Trails series, when I moved on from Sky, and onto Trails From Zero, I pulled that disgusted lip curl/snarl in the opening scene when I heard them speaking, and immediately switched to Japanese language so I could read the dialogue in peace.
Everyone is happy with the game as it is (although perhaps this dev cycle is making a few disgruntled with the time being taken) - there's no incentive to make a change when the audience has already accepted the game as it is.
