I would turn it off imediately. Esp if it included sexy time.I didn't realize how much good voice acting would improve a VN

What's stopping him is a Patreon poll a few years back where the majority of his subs voted for meatier/lengthier updates over smaller but more sporadic updates. Doing what you're suggesting is basically reneging from that, so...yeah, no.Seeing as how the update will include events past the current area, what's stopping the dev from releasing that area alone and the end of the update is when he leaves, instead of taking a year to release each update? Last I saw progress was at 68% after 7 months?

Also, that's assuming there will be no concurrent things happening with the rest of the cast. What's stopping him is a Patreon poll a few years back where the majority of his subs voted for meatier/lengthier updates over smaller but more sporadic updates. Avada KablammoYep, it was a memorable lesson to Orion that overconfidence can get him and those close to him killed. That even the seemingly weakest opponents can be deadly if he's too cocky. He's gotten stronger and faster, but he's not Superman, bullets won't just bounce off him.
Have you played FreshWomen's update where they added voice acting? Not sure when they added it, didn't scroll through the change-log. It's surprisingly good, to the point where it's on par with above average modern cartoons. Considering the amount of money they're making, and how few VA they need to employ I guess they didn't need to skimp on talent.Doubt it. Voice acting is really hard to do well, and tends to be very expensive. Most AVNs are done by small teams relying mostly on donations, selling subscriptions, or selling copies. For something like Eternum it would be very difficult.
It's still not worth it.Have you played FreshWomen's update where they added voice acting? Not sure when they added it, didn't scroll through the change-log. There's also the fact that the game is just too far into it's story that any sort of VA added at this point would be a monumental task, as the VAs will have to voice 8 patches (9 if you count the upcoming one) worth of dialogue (and that's a pretty big ask). Not to mention a lot of people already have imagined voices that they use for the characters, so adding a VA that sounds different to how they imagined it will just be a big turn-off.It's still not worth it.
For every person like you, there's someone like me. I intensely dislike a lot of VA. The only company that ever got it right was the one that did Xenoblade and FFXIV for Monolith and Square Enix.
When I was playing the Trails series, when I moved on from Sky, and onto Trails From Zero, I pulled that disgusted lip curl/snarl in the opening scene when I heard them speaking, and immediately switched to Japanese language so I could read the dialogue in peace.
Everyone is happy with the game as it is (although perhaps this dev cycle is making a few disgruntled with the time being taken) - there's no incentive to make a change when the audience has already accepted the game as it is.
Still Nancy. Nancy gon be the best all the way.
so, Best girl is Nova ?! Right ?![]()
My crackpot theory is that the Xenomorph scourge is simply just a symptom of Eternum beginning to break down (albeit at a much faster rate due in part to the VRMMO system). If the cycles theory is correct then we're basically heading for an end of the cycle reset, and is the reason why The Founder is speeding his search for the Gems and use its power for himself before he too gets swept by the collapse.I'm super curious where this Mercer/Xenomorph subplot is gonna head to. It feels more significant to me than just set-up for this "event". I kinda wonder if she's actually gonna start some shit on Earth-side, and people are gonna start manifesting more overt magic to combat it.
Strange way to spell NovaNancy
Hrmmm. Yeah, forcing the realms to become this weird existence of programmed realms can't be good. Xenomorphs being some sort of natural resistance or bug in the realms does make sense. Iirc, though, one of the audio recordings in Andromeda said that the xenomorphs had always been there. Since the start of the "game". So they're not new or recent. So they would predate the Eternum not-VRMMO mechanism. My crackpot theory is that the Xenomorph scourge is simply just a symptom of Eternum beginning to break down (albeit at a much faster rate due in part to the VRMMO system). yo, same with the Zombie incursion that is mentioned for other servers. The whole system...what ever it really is...seems to be at the brink. My crackpot theory is that the Xenomorph scourge is simply just a symptom of Eternum beginning to break down (albeit at a much faster rate due in part to the VRMMO system). The Xenomorphs have been there but they were confined to Andromeda. However, based on the Isaac tapes they were basically confined to the edges of the system until the players started going deeper, eventually attacking and infecting players who are able to take them to other servers and spread them. And it's not just the Xenomorphs, but every other server is starting to unravel, with some servers either falling to a zombie apocalypse (as Takkatakka had reminded me) or the NPCs starting to go haywire like in Ekabar.Hrmmm. I haven't played in a while. I finished Season 1 and was waiting for season 2, then got distracted with other AVNs. It takes me a while to play through them depending on their size. I'll have to go back and check it out some time, I'm intrigued. Personally I'd be happy with an AI that would just read it like an audio book so long as it doesn't sound like a robot.Have you played FreshWomen's update where they added voice acting? This was likely foreseen by Idriel (who has some sort of prescience ability or has lived through the cycles (if you subscribe to the cycles theory)), which is why she (and the Syndicate and - based on his dialogue with Caly in Ogygia - Thanatos) are talking as if some creeping doom is about to befall Eternum, and that the only way to likely save everyone is for Orion to stop being an absolute arrogant horndog and finally get his shit together.![]()
