I prefer it.
It looks odd, really odd, when I see a family and they all look the same age and they start calling one of the younger looking ones "mother".
It's like a step in uncanny valley wondering how much plastic surgery they went through and that's the exact opposite to a turn on for me.

It was inspired in a way... it was the first porn game where I honestly asked myself; "would I hit that?" Made it more realistic for sure.
Damn, I loved this game for Gina and the story ... somebody know what the daz3d used for Gina ? Because when i see the face of Gina & Violet for me it's the same model but with some facing modification.

Well, on this forum, you can sometimes see some horrible looking characters. Not realistic at all, just plain bad looking, or badly made. That's where this question really works, because i hardly get excited at all. When i first saw mom here, it was a huge blast of excitement for me. I'm big fan of comics\manga and stuff like that, where some authors really can draw realistic looking faces and bodies of mature women. In 3D porn games, this stuff is very rare. And it's sad. Maybe because authors really lazy, or they just plainly hate mature beauty (nothing wrong with that of course). I don't know... mother's looks surprised me in a good way only, because i've seen such "old school" beauty type in other works. But it was only 2D. I hardly can find such characters in 3D. Each character in this game seems like a lot of work. Not "another stock model".
Vengeance received tons of hate because of character's looks. That's for sure. It's hard to endure. They're not clones as most people apperently likes, but it still was too much. One of the most hated ones of course was mom. But not only. Each one, especially Jessica, was hated at some point too.

I am still very much new to this Former project and site as a whole, and the end of this project is incredibly unsettling. I certainly hope the developer of the game gets what he needs out of life and gets himself out of the funk he is in, but this still is a hard pill to swallow as many others and myself have stated. I really loved the story, direction, to characters, and the overall feel the game gave the player. Its a shame that we will no longer have it, I hope in the future the developer will come back to us with better news on his life and with the good new on his continuation on well he left off. until then i wish him the best and all of the fans such as myself. I can see how something like this may sadden someone almost to the point of making their own game because this has certainly motivated me to at least begin to look into it. Hopefully ethan's legacy does not end here. If it does continue by the hands of a fan or just some spin off by a fan, lets just hope they don't do the former game a disservice. Maybe its just wishful thinking but I have high hopes for the developer. I have high hopes that he will change up his life and things will begin to look up for him and be better for him, even if its a year or two from now. If that were to happen I'm sure some of his fans would still be here and would welcome him back with open arms and happy to see him return and continue to produce his fantastic project. Until then i wish you all the best and bid you all farewell.
does not matter this game is abandoned as the dev had real life issues to work on, will probably never make porn games again.
Did anyone happen to see what he was making a month on patreon before he decided to stop?
wtf wow thats it? he was working on two games (that i knew of) and quite frankly i liked them both and thought they were better than most of the other crap that gets posted on here, this is probably one of the big reasons he decided to quit as 1k a month is not really enough to live on when you are on your own.

This was one of the few games I gave money to but it was a slow build up of patrons. His user base was growing but he was that critical of his work he'd apologise after updates if he saw any criticism thinking we all must think like that, it made a few people back away.
Sooner or later the money would have come but he has personal issues to work on.
This is probably my favourite story, for some reason I got right into it and wanted to see it play out but I think if he'd have carried on he would have dug himself into a deep pit emotionally and may have struggled to get out of it.

His games is unique in many ways, that's may be why so little patrons. All this hate, "this character ugly, this character is autistic etc." Many people didn't like power system, or always complaining about lack of sex (and that is not true at all), others don't like story (as if many people read this text anyway). Vengeance's criticism is basically because of big amounts of negative feedback all this months. And lack of real big support. When he already was in deep depression, i guess it was extremely hard to endure and care less. In most recent time, he was trying to appease everybody, obviously didn't work. It just can't work. I still remember that story with "Gina's NTR" in first chapter. And dark theme of the game always was a problem for some people.
It's really sad; i loved this game even though people criticized about looks of mum. i wish he could sell or hand over this project to another !

What was Gina's NTR in the first chapter? I remember she was almost assaulted, but don't remember her with other guys.

It's so sad to see him go, I really loved EL and Daryce as well, I honestly feel like crying right now. I hope him the best of luck for his future and hopefully one day he'll come back to making Ethan's Legacy because this was my favorite game out of like 1000 other games I've played. Ethan Legacy was so good that I can't describe it. I honestly loved every character in this game especially Violet, she was my favorite. The one thing I loved about this game was that Vengance makes his characters so lovable, like you just feel for them. I see people commenting about Jessica's look. I honestly liked her she was one of my favorite and same with his mom. It just makes the game more realistic, it's not fun when all the characters look alike with big silicone tits. When I first played the game, I was looking for just some porn but ended up felling in love with the story. I love you Vengence and I'll miss you and this game. I hope you come back. :''(

I think he sort of answered alot of the criticisms I had in his post. The story from 1-3 never really went anywhere I still had no idea really what was going on. The graphics and visuals were good as was the content but it all seemed disjointed the fact that the stats never carried over also was a problem.Sadly, V3X was his own worst enemy, this was my favorite game hands down and I became an elite tier supporter just as the IF and extras came out prior to Act 2 and the jump to ren'py. He was very commited and always released lots of content with story progression. Unfortunately he took the criticism of non patron internet trolls bitching about lack of sexual content, or that they felt like they were being cucked (like that ever happens
It is ironic to see the pledges that other devs get while releasing nothing for over 6 months or 2 minute updates that look like they were thrown together over the weekend prior to release date, but I guess people are going to support, who they're going to support and sometimes good people are going to fall through the cracks. I hope that one day the fire will light within him to finish this game that was left teetering on the tip of the iceberg, even if it is part time and 3 months between updates.
I mean it's too bad really. His game wasn't great by any means but it was still good but sometimes that really isn't enough for some people. Hopefully, he gets his life together and revisits things when he is at a healthier place mentally.

It wasn't full NTR\rape, yes. Ethan saved her from Marcus. But that "almost NTR\rape" caused pretty big negative reaction. Overall, somebody always disliked situations like this. For example, in latest update sequences with Clara, and Sonic. In my opinion, it was absolutely needed for the story. To at least better understand lifes of Specials, and what Luxem really can do. Vengeance pretty much struggled all this time to deliver story that "everyone will like".
At least it was far greater than 90% garbage here. There always was some weak spots, like with power system and disjointed 1-3 chapters. That may scare away new people. But in most recent "Renpy" time he really improved many things, and planned to improve even more. In this story, there was a feelings, and i begin to really care about characters. Something that lack in most of this games.
