There's always gonna get both. Some updates will have more than others because they have to fit into the story properly, but there'll always be lewd content. 0.5 alone has 3 new sex scenes and lewd non-sex content.
The power ranger part took about 5% of the effort it took to create the Emily scene. I had just improved enough by the time I got there that I was able to pull it off better with much less effort and time investment.
It's fair to criticize the scene if you didn't enjoy it, but you gotta keep in mind this is the first time I do anything like this, and I'm working hard to improve as I go. Good sex scenes are harder to write than you'd think, and that specific scene was the first time I tried creating custom animations as well.
In these 3 images, the 0.5 (Releasing Nov. 1) image was the easiest to make by far. Quality doesn't equal effort/love, and a lot of the problems in early updates are because I'm learning as I go, not because of a misguided focus.
I'm always trying to improve to make the game the best it can be, 0.6 will have a particularly hard focus on improving animations.

You shouldn't feel obligated to respond to every entitled commenter whose only criticism is some variation of "I'm not getting updates fast enough" or to people who don't even bother to check out the content but feel some inexplicable urge to comment anyway. You'll never convince those people that you're working hard enough on your game. All they know is that they want more of something and don't have it right now, and nothing else matters to them. Just keep doing your best. You're doing a good job. Don't let these kinds of people bog you down

though the ending line of that post is a little worrying. While improving animations is a good thing, don't spend too much time improving previous parts while providing less progress to the story and new lewd scenes. That is a trap quite a few devs of fell into, time is limited for everybody try to find a balance that works.
You can't please everyone because people have different tastes and expectations. For me the Emily scene was hot and epic. Especially considering it's the first sexual scene with her. I loved everything about it; the animations, the teasing posing, the forest background, the lights and especially the music. I often replay that scene just for the song lol.

What I meant is that I'll be working hard to improve how I animate things to become both better and faster at it. There are things early on though that absolutely need to be fixed, but my focus is still on the future of the game. The main reason I'm fixing some early content is because it is actively harming the game by turning away a lot of players, and more players = more support which will allow me to dedicate more time to the game while still being able to pay my bills.
The last thing I want though is to get caught in an endless cycle of reworking old updates. There's a lot of stuff throughout the game that I'd have done differently now that I'm more experienced, but unless it's actually harming the game, I won't be wasting development time on it that could be used on new content.
(The parts I'm fixing are the absolute worst parts, which thankfully is all at the start and only makes up a small portion of the content. It's just a rough portion that's kind of screwing me over and turning away players quick.)
I just want to repeat again though to be clear for anyone reading, my main focus is still the future of the game, and the early content fixes are to ensure that the game will have a future to look forward to and regular updates that don't come at a snail's pace. I will not sacrifice significant amounts of development time reworking old content, this fix should be a quick one and done deal. I was a player before being a dev, so I know how annoying it gets when the story stalls because a dev isn't happy with content that doesn't need fixing.
I agree with this, the main reason I responded was to point out the improvements and give some insight on how development is going vs the past. I can't convince everybody, but at least with the improvements being visible on the thread, somebody else reading may decide it's worth giving the game a try.

I was talking about the emphasis, like other scenes have. With Jessie you can see it dripping from her mouth, with Camilla you can see it flying and covering her body, and with Aria you have the option to choose where to.
It's clear the effort you're putting on this game. I'm just criticizing because I see this happening a lot with other games and I don't want the same to happen here. I also got a little frustrated, because I wanted at least a view from the back when the animation gets faster and just wanted to vent a bit.
Regarding the custom animation, it's great to have some, but always have in mind that are the characters that makes your game special, everything else (maps, studio items, poses, animation, shaders, etc) has a negligible impact compared to it. As an artist myself I know how you want your creation to be as unique as possible, but don't let this desire come at the expense of the player's experience – Seeing the character you fell in love with in different angles, different positions, on a sex scene is very special and a cliché animation is never going to hurt the experience.
Kudos to you taking your time to interact with the fans and also addressing some criticism.

Yeah I hope I didn't come of as overly defensive, I just wanted to explain it from my side hahah.
but yeah, showing different angles and having sex scenes contain more content is something I'm working towards to find the right balance. In the beginning, every sex scene was basically 2 different animations, which was a problem I didn't realize because I just didn't know how to write them (though that changes in 0.5, one scene has about 9 different animations and several angles alone). I'm experimenting with different ways to get the sex scenes done properly though so it's not just "ahh! ahhh... fuck! I'm cumming!" viewed from one angle at 2 different speeds. That experimentation is continuing as I develop 0.6, I don't want the sex scenes to be underwhelming.
I'm basically learning through trial by fire, which is why I might have gotten a little defensive over the scene
. I do look at criticism though, that's the biggest thing that's allowed me to improve. Some criticism can be painful, but it can point out issues I might not be noticing.

This is a totally unofficial *ahem* content patch for 0.5 onwards. Totally made by me, yep.
(Just extract it, or drag the already extracted "game" folder into the Evermore folder.)

It changes the relation between two characters (so far).
Does it change relations between already established LIs or is it for actual new ones? Cause imo given the story so far the "family" makes perfect sense to not be related to the MC

It is a new character, and the relation is to the MC (that's a clarification from me, since the definition of the tag doesn't guarantee that - for example, if Melanie and Emily did anything together, that would also qualify for the tag despite it not really being what most people interested in the tag care about).
