If you need a testing team I would be happy to apply. Since I like the changes that you made but the game you're building from is broken. So IMHO help is needed.
i dunno if i am understanding it right, you could then tan a person that had a pale skin to begin with, to a black skin? that does sound a bit strange if its the case.
From a quick glance at the code I believe there is a beauty bonus if pale skin colors suntan but because darker tones can't get that bonus it is balanced by giving them a buff to beauty without a tan.
Yes as stated earlier since dark skins don't have to option to get tanned the stats are higher.
I removed the beauty stat bonus off of dark skinned people and just gave everyone, regardless of skin color, the ability to get a tan. I can do this since the game doesn't take place on Earth and is in a different but similar world. Everyone is on the same playing field now.
It isn't a horrible idea. The main problem is time. That would be one more thing that takes me away from game development. I understand the benefits, but players can post here all they want, just with fewer features than discord.
that is a very usefull one and should be mentioned in the main post of the game, it definitly saves alot of time messing with a good amount of values on a npc to archive that.
