I used Bandizip to extract zipped folder with Japanese language, but I still get the error "Cannot locate basic info data". What do I do?
Hi i got alittle annoyed with the eros screen not being translated so i gave it a go (think its right i dont speak jap) anyway here it is just replace yours if you want it. (in the data/picture folder)

Usually a problem Wolf has with the files address. Make sure it's not too long, doesn't have and non English characters in it and the game is on the C: drive. If the game folder is in Japanese try renaming it to English or using

Oh, thanks! Now it works, but the screen size is little bit fucked. More specifically, it's moved tightly to the right. Is this okay?

That's odd is something forcing to fullscreen maybe. Try Wolfs shotcuts F4 toggles window size, F11 fullscreen.

If a actual company really needs multiple years to translate a small game like this one, they're most definitely being lazy or are holding back on purpose. Also yes I do believe MTLs can make Kagura Translations redundant. There are some really good edited MTLs out there. Even unedited ones can be decent.I found it funny that someone believes an MTL can make Kagura's releases redundant

As far as I know Black Souls used a edited MTL and I barely could tell the difference. I didn't even bother getting the official translations since the edited MTL was more than enough in my opinion and there is a lot of talking in Black Souls.
Well then what stops your from doing MTLs then if its so easy? You could edit them too, so they actually make sense. Oh wait, it actually is a lot of work and you can break something during the process. So you don't do it.
Even those run-of-the-mill things need somebody to sit down and actually put all that through translators. That is still work. Which I bet you'd be too lazy to do.
You can have standards I have them too but considering this game here is a more complicated one, I'd wager I would have trouble playing it in japanese. Setting everything up correctly for text hookers and what not also takes time. So I don't bother.
So its nice to see that somebody takes the effort to make at least a MTL. Its definitely better than Moonrunes that I cannot read.
Kaguras Releases were essentially redundant. The fantranslations were already around for quite a while. Everybody already played most of these games in english. So that makes their "official" translations unnecessary. Not to mention that some of these like tower of liz, actually added stuff into the game that got cut in the official release.

This might be delving into offtopic territory, but I think a key motivating factor for slow H-game translation companies is most likely the lack of "proper" competition in the field. I mean, currently Kagura is basically the only company that officially translates Japanese H-games to the western market. If we began to see more companies come up and compete, I'm sure there would eventually be Crunchyroll/Netflix anime competitions where we might even get same day launches for both localizations. Then again, more competition might also mean more awareness of this relatively niche market, and seeing how people react to even the more vanilla porn games, it might also draw more politics and legislation.

Okay....As you said, that's odd, because it fixed itself when I restarted the PC. Idk what happened. I'm not even sure it has anything to do with PC restart...

The game was pretty nice , shame for the MTL being rather atrocious in this case but...until someone actually bothers translating this it's better than nothing I guess .
The art is nice , the gameplay's fun ( somewhat broken in a few cases...at some point I got a pair of twin swords with 4 attacks and 40% insta death chance on each attack...bosses don't seem to have any sort of immunity against these effects either...was pretty silly ) , would recommend .

You can wait for Kagura's official translation. This game has been on Kagura's waiting list for a time and let's hope that they'll release it soon.

Kagura Games has released the trailer for this game on their YouTube channel, which typically means they'll release it within the month-ish. If you were on the fence about playing the MTL here, might be worth it to wait for Kagura's version.
