I mean, they can make smol girl (which is the goal here, unless they are really aiming for that lolicon money...) without making her look like a loli.
They already said that making her taller was enough to get her past the Steam censors although they haven't actually shown the new model yet.
Yes, because the height determines adulthood of a person/character. Everybody knows that certain body features that women develop during puberty don't matter at all - it's all about height...
Also, I think the problem with Galatea is her baby face. They can make her as tall as the want but there's no defending that face, lol.
"Make her 170 cm tall - this way nobody will mistake her for loli!" - flawless logic.
They can keep her small and petite but they have make her more womanly - especially her face.
The fact that the game has had an Alet for a long time, which also looks like a schoolgirl (and even has a school uniform), did not bother anyone at all.
Alet kinda has baby face but that body is definitely legal so your comparison sucks. Extremely developed for their age girls exist but it's not a norm. You'd never associate body like that with a school girl.
Teach them to reliably determine the age of a fictional 3D model that has no documents to call her loli?
Teach them what? Basics of human anatomy? Kids are basically rectangles with a oversized head on top and sticks for arms and legs. If you have a loli next to adult but petite woman, you won't make a mistake even if their height, weight and body size is the same. Differences are as clear as day, you simply know that you are either looking at a woman or a kid.
Galatea's body is borderline and she has loli face. It's intentional because IIRC she was a sex-droid for pedos. But good luck explaining that to steam curators....
