She also isn't even in the fucking game. I smell bullshit. Another excuse to back out of something they promised years ago.

Remember to buy the premium Galatea character pack when it comes out in a year.

I imagine it's gotta be like you predicted. Helius has said before Galatea is fully done with some animations and just waiting on Steam approval. I kinda doubt the truth of that seeing as there's literally zero previews of her. This does make a convenient excuse on "Well, starting from scratch with Galatea so don't expect anything I said was done to be done."

Pure speculation but whoever did this on Patreon probably did the same on Steam.

Because that is what you need to do to make money. Didn't you see the step-brother games on patreon/steam at all ?
It's much harder thing to do with loli as you can't just rename the character, you need to make it old enough to pass as adult yet still young enough for the crowd that wants that.
I also assume a lot of projects gets away with what they do because it goes unnoticed / none reports that.

Given the drama around this game i can absolutely see them being reported for whatever reason possible. But i would call it a quick shot - they ain't getting banned for pictures on discord. She ain't in game so nothing will come out of it.

I think anyone looking for loli in such big profile game needs to cut down his expectations - they can't afford to get banned. even shortly. As for Helius in his natural fashion he is leading people by the nose giving them hope for something that won't happen.

Steam's rules about what is and isn't permisible on their store are lacking and being up to whatever apparatchik you get saddled with is an ongoing issue many games face - as are arbitrary standards for fictional characters (and fiction in general) everywhere else.

That being said the clowns in charge of this circus knew very well what the likely outcome of featuring a character such as Galatea were going to be, yet still went ahead and led everyone by the nose. They lied about the character because I don't doubt getting the game released on Steam was their long-term goal from the get-go.

Reminder that they wouldn't have had any issue with any sort of content if they had released the game on DLSite, or it they had partnered with XVideos or whoever else was willing to help them along.

But no, they had to be the most greedy, bottom-feeding scum imaginable.

The game should have been single-player, with a campaign and actual gameplay - the devs also forgot about that as well.

The farther along they go in warping the game into a skinner-box the more features they will drop.

And even if they do include the fabled XCOM gameplay, it's also going to be gacha bullshit with stamina bars, grinding, currency and having to buy card packs (defacto lootboxes) to unlock new characters and abilities.

The quality of the Game most of all comes from its excellent Artists (and overall i will always mention QI WU here who is a big driving factor in the projects overall success) it is making a big part up of it the other part is coding, but coding is not so strong as the Art part here and mostly the work of EPIC the overall coding excellence comes in the overall system logic which overall the most complex part currently is inside the Harem part and the workout of the whole gambling system driving it including the like system and on top of that the Network Code driving the Server/Client logic, which overall the biggest work is also EPICs.
Though you would rather wish more Developing Time goes into a functioning GAME with the IP at Hand, but this happens only as a by product currently.
And a lot of the Developing Time is going into the Mulitiplayer Part which is ridiculous the IP can be so much more even up to a high grade story driven porn game that yet no one did so far.

And the idea of a like system is funny you being liked for a Scene and Animation that was entirely pre produced (that you gained by a random dice event system) where you're not driving anything of in terms of your own creativity, the like system for a pre produced totally linear Animation is an entire JOKE in itself

The like System is only there because you are used to it.

And this should make you understand what this System is about, selling Animations and Art for the first nothing else then a Shop.

I believe neither have back end structure to handle frequent updates, support and integration with another platform. Then there is exposure that steam brings.

Because they most probably checked the 2257 release of that Model already or know that the producer can provide it

2257 can hardly be checked for Digital Characters except Clones, so we scientifically analyze for now and it's mostly trying to find out the intent and Project Helius already advertised with the intent.
