I hit every button on both controllers and nothing happened..

I do not have steam installed, but it does not mention that steam is required to play, and I have never had good luck with steam and games from sites like this anyway. They usually warn people to make sure that steam is turned off when playing cracked games on the rare steam games that I have tried..

It did the same thing with .32 also, but I did not have time to mess with it ,and all previous versions worked fine.
Laptop is an MSI Dominator with Nvidia 1070 graphics, M2SSD boot drive and 48Gb's of Corsair Vengeance ram.
Oculus rift headset.

I don't know what headset you're using, but they might be relying on SteamVR for this, and it might be causing your problem. I know Facebook does their own thing but for example the WMR headsets still run shit through SteamVR. Sorry I'm not an expert, but I know enough that not having SteamVR open would be my first bet for sure, so try that.

Also, .32VR wasn't cracked, just non-VR, so make sure you aren't trying to open an uncracked version? Doubt that's related but just in case.

Add "-vr" or " -vrmode oculus" to the exe shortcut command line and also add it manually in oculus software one of the above should work mine runs native oculus. Also make sure as the guy above said steam is closed not running at all in background. Also I would recommend using the ODT and forcing ASW 2.0 if you have a Rift S. Runs well and lets you jack up the graaphics settings and supersample.

Welll im not certain that your freezing issue comes from the power of the components itself as it could be that your system is badly configured or has a bad overclock or was badly overclocked and now has damaged parts or other things.

But i can telll you that 8 gb or ram isnt cutting it anymore in newer gaming titles anymore without some serious issues regarding stuttering and the system having to use the pagefile which may in the end feel like the system is freezing again and again.

I made a quick startup and my ram usage was at 3,9 G just using firefox, with this page open freshly started.
That is important as firefox is a huge memory hogger if you have to many pages open.

After starting and getting into a scene i have 8,1 GB usage.

Since i got 32GB or ram Windows may use my pagefile less from the start and therefore you may start with less ram usage.

The game(is this a game?) is loading all character and both scenes in when it starts up so you need 4,2 GB or freee ram at least and its not like youre 100mb under the 8gb and all will be fine.

So yeah to answer your question is machine seems to be not up to running this and if you can just try to get an memory upgrade to 16 which would help your general pc performance anyway as 8GB isnt good enough for gaming for around a decade.

Also get an sdd as storage as hdd s are also bound to have longer loading times and may cause the system to be longer unresive epecially if you have to use the hdd also for the pagefile as in your case due to you only having 8gb memory.



Other reasons problems your system might have are:

- Bad drivers or missconfiguration

- Cpu overheating due to you cpu paste is getting old or their is a giant amount of dust on its fan

- The 1050 may be overheating due to too much dust and then throtteling.

- System components may be damaged or throtteling due to bad past or current overclocks.

All the later are less likely but i wanted to give you some hints what else you could look out for.


That all being said im not sure if a porn game is worth upgrading your pc for if anyting else you do with your pc is running smooth.

Right click on the exe thsat launches the game and create a shortcut and now right click the shortcut and in the command line add the launch variables I said to use that are in parenthesis. both need a space between launch exe ie "c:\games\coolgame.exe -vrmode oculus" and also to force asw open oculus debug tool it will be in same location as launch exe for oculus client and go down look for 'Asynchronous Space Warp" and choose "force 45fps on" one little used advantage of Rift especially Rift S is ASW 2.0 it is light years ahead of SteamVR reprojection tech and passable in many games I think the Quest only uses ASW1.0 like original rift.

Looks like I am out of luck for this game. Did what you suggested and it still tries to load a non vr version that never connects to my oculus rift that will not fully load the game. That is what version 32 did also.
There was talk when 31 had come out that the game engine was going to be changed to another version due to some issue and that may be why I have not been able to get 32 or 33 to load or even connect to the vr headset.

GPU might only be able to run it on medium at decent 1080p >30fps 0.3 screen percent but that's still pretty good, shouldn't have much problems with it, if you do, your system might be unstable because of other problems like a bad OC
but the CPU and the 8GB of RAM I would argue IS enough; that's how much I have in terms of RAM and it never maxed out at more that 7.5 GB used by my entire system windows and everything included.

Try resetting the settings to their defaults. Every time I load up the game for the first time it's rather dark until I do that.

Yes. There's Alet, Erika, and Anya. Galatea is going to be added in the multiplayer. Not sure about the other female characters that have been teased.

If you want human on human animations, then there's always the Dreamer. Which I think still has the most animations out of any single character. Or go watch regular porn or try any of the many other porn games on this site. Complaining in this thread is pointless. They won't get rid of the monsters just for you. The monsters is this game's whole thing.

I find it ironic when people complain about hardcore stuff like monsters/loli/rape in this game, since being hardcore is literally the whole point of the game. I mean, the game has "Lovecraft" in the title for a reason, it's supposed to be dark. There's hundreds of vanilla sex games for people to play, so if you want normal stuff, just play them. I guess it is one of three camera modes, press P to switch. The non-stabilized POVs does not make any sense to me. No one experiences such view with eyes, except with some brain damage.
And the focal length and angle of the POV is not what I expect.

Hint: Key H for auto move of the 3rd person camera. I requested this in my first review.

To the Developers:
Talking cameras: The postures should be changed to get a better view, I think. With some of the monsters, you get 6 arms and wings rather than some beauty.
And why placing a chair or walls beside the scene ? Just blocking the view :-O
