Steam told them to remove all buttons to the patreon from the game. Making money through patreon is not the problem, many others do it as well.Game is still vip, but hey we already have a business plan for the next ten years xD I wonder what happens when Steam realizes Helius is making money outside of Steam.
The problem is that you can't buy access through steam but you can through patreon, which puts steam customers at disadvantage. My guess is that its some loophole - probably they got set amount of beta keys for patrons and steam doesn't mess with that. It says that by pledging 36$ you get key for the game once it enters Early Access - this is not ea now but beta. So i guess if you don't get beta key you can't even complain XD.
