What's really amazing is that the game isn't even in early access yet and he's already outlining how they're going to fleece their paypigs.

Nothing good comes from a developer who is already thinking up ways of monetizing their product before said product is fully released.

I predict that Operation Lovecraft is going to be one of those games that will perpetually remain in EA, until the developer just abandons it when it stop making them enough money and leaves the whole thing a broken, buggy mess.

dude you really need to rethink your financial decisions
putting 500$ into something of quality that you benefit from right away is one thing

I love the sheer lack of effort they're putting into hiding any of this now. In like 2 weeks it went from you will not and cannot buy currency ever to you can buy currency at this conversion rate up til launch, then you just have the option to buy what currency buys directly with real money.

The character bundle would be no different really from just buying currency since you can get both their outfits and character specific animation packs, you just now will have that much less choice over if you could buy the currency and choose the outfits/ just all packs yourself. Like they made this somehow even more restrictive and worse than just buying the currency in the first place.

a pay to play system in a crowdfunded game is incredible weird,basically u crowdfund a game but u need to pay more to get full access to the game u funded in the first place
its no different by upping up every patreon tier by hundres of dollars too

The gallery mode is free to play as in you purchase the game and got to play for "free" or the entire game is free to play?

so... can gallery mode play offline? can anyone have cbt game client confirm this? is the new gallery mode contain all characters and poses same as harem mode. If so I'm totally fine without harem mode.
Imagine the game get you to login and do grinding daily sex stuffs when you don't have feeling to make me feel sick...

Gallery in demo and CBT is the same. They have never said if they will put more stuff into gallery so my guess is they won't. Maybe here and then they will throw some new animations to gallery to rekindle some of that f2p interest and lure people in. But that is something they will wait till EA is out and harem mode can be purchased on steam.

To get the all animations you need to play the online harem mode and participate in the grind.

That is what the patrons are testing now. It has access to online harem mode, its a paid feature.

Technically it's open beta test, anyone can buy a key for $36 on Patreon, reserve a key on ProjectHelius site and play, Helius got 80,000 keys. Enough for six months.

Honestly as a customer standpoint I dont know where we standing in this project, do we have a chance to get a complete product that worthly and anyone can say "yeah, that's really great."

Personally I really hope this project become success. but yeah again, I don't know where we can give our hope at.

Don't worry this question isn't personal. But the many issues I have are just similar to other people like Harem Mode for instance the idea of an online hub area to watch sex is a cool idea a paper but seeing in inaction makes me scratch my head in wonder who thought this was a good idea. the progressing speed is really slow like why do I have to hope on a porn game every day for like 8 hours just to get 1 new sex scene while reaping the sex since I already have which just loses its taste after an extended amount of time like come on it's a porn game it doesn't need to have the common AAA game tactics in them just to keep me playing. But just like you I don't want to hate this game I want it to be successful but I'm very afraid of what the future may hold

There is no need to throw in the salt. This is much bigger problem then his financial choice - because some scummy devs do stunts like this people then are less likely to support other projects in future. But without that support most of the projects wouldn't happen. Porn games are simply not able to secure funding from publishers like normal games do.

Don't feel bad about being excited for something, just make sure whatever you spend you are comfortable with. I like to think that supporting projects is like setting money on fire - how much are we willing to burn in hopes the project works?
