Doesn't the game say "SPECIAL THANKS" to DLSITE and another company when you start it?

Yeah it does. I always thought that was more of a "We'll gladly host your game in the future." Not "We're a stakeholder with design influence."

I don't believe everygame that has the logo at the start has an investment from them, just that you can get it from their site.

Either way, the mods love to talk about how the spirit of Patreon is you fund a game and get what you get total overhauls and all, but in that spirit you also shouldn't be looking for a backing for what appears to be a very funded game. Or not disclosing to the Patreons that their influence is being handed off to outside investors.

I'd say it heavily implies that they have received money from DLsite considering it's listed with an investment company and Patreon. The last two being financial support.

Knowing any of this doesn't really change anything since the one that has made all the poor decisions is still Helius. If the investors from either DLsite or Game Trigger have had influence of some kind, it was still Helius that took their money when Patreon was probably paying enough as is. Hell, we could sit here all day listing dumb crap that is Helius' fault for this clusterfuck. My personal favorite being the needless bragging and fictitious name dropping just to hype up their supporters.

Ahh, see I'm dumb. Didn't realize game trigger was an investment company. Though it'd still be nice to have an idea of who all invested and how much overall control they have over the project, especially given the awful direction at the moment.

But yeah, Helius is big at namedropping. We know he did at least have one prominent guy, I forget who but it's the guy who made the Anya robot. Helius said he was poached by Tencent, and others in the discord have confirmed he doesn't post Fallen Doll stuff anymore.

I wanna say Qi Wu based on what I'm seeing, but I'll look for better confirmation since Helius never said who, just someone was poached.

I will admit... I have it wishlisted... Doesn't mean I'm going to buy it though. :KEK:
It's more like a pin for me to use to see if something dumb happens. Maybe I should un-wishlist it? That would just be petty though...

Question is if there would be that many wishing for it if they knew the shit show about?
And then again just because its on someone's wishlist doesn't mean that will turn in a purchase in the future either.
Something is odd with it. The demo had a peak player base of 4000 and averages 500 now, yet is somehow one of the most wishlisted games?

If someone is comfortable having it on the wishlist, surely they'd try the demo?

You guys are reading too much into the thanks and what Helius says. Investors wouldn't buy into the BS that Helius puts out for the crowd, they would need too see that the project is guaranteed to make them the money back. For that to happen what we see would need to be like a tip of the iceberg.

Top 50 wish list ? wow i wonder how many more post about wish list he is gonna make. Wasn't Subverse top 4 wish list ? long way to go Helius.
Btw. Notice how in all his news he tries to hype people. Meanwhile there are enemies/animations he teased year ago and they still ain't in game.

The real question is how willing are people going to be to rewatch the same canned animations over and over and over again to unlock more canned animations to repeat the process.

Let's imagine the average player - he logs in to rub one off, sets up a scene, jizzes in 10 or so minutes and then logs off. That's how much he's going to be interacting with the game on a daily basis. Granted, some users may be hornier and log in for two or three 10-minute sessions in a day, but that's still an average playtime of 15 minutes or so.

Based on that limited timeframe, how long is it going to take the average player to unlock new scenes or characters? And since the game is relaying almost solely on player-created sessions to drive the economy the servers would need to be full 24/7 to allow people to earn some likes in those 10-minute fap sessions.

Basically, people are only going to log into the game to masturbate, and you're already competing with all the other porn out there for that, so what kind of average usercount can we even expect in the game?
We honestly don't know, we don't have anything to base our assumptions on. There are gacha games where only game play is dressing up and ogling girls and they are doing fine. But will that work for hard porn ? no idea

Progression wise the rates are probably lower then intended. They have multiple beta phases planned and i'm sure they will be tracking user engagement rates. The general idea is you never want to nerf the rewards / progression, you want to buff it. Then everyone is like "yey they listened" kappa.

Agreed, might be that they don't want to "spoil" the experience and wait for release? But still low amount of users testing the demo right now, and the demo don't have the harem mode either so when they finally see the shit they might consider not to buy it.

So, I came back to PH related stuff after being out of the loop for a while, and I have just two questions.
1. Is there any cracked version of the game where Galatea is usable? (Seeing as how the final product won't be having her at all)
2. And if not, then is there any cracked version of the game post 0.34 cuz I just keep seeing 0.34 everywhere ast he latest version, just as I had seen last time I checked so many months ago.
0.34 is the best version anyway
Why they call it harem mode anyway? Looks like orgy mode instead. Since as far as I understand English, harem means 1 person with a group of their lovers, while orgy means group sex? I was kinda expecting harem mode to be player with those girls or something.
oh yea that's another can of worms. maybe they're doing it to attract more people, because harem ( = you and a bunch of girls) will definitely sell better that "you and a bunch of dudes jerking together"
do u have 0.34 link? thx
the mega link works ffs

You're right. They wouldn't buy into that bs. Investors buy into the fact that they have high numbers from grifting on Patreon. Investors usually don't care about anything except how well the product sells. That's why I was dismissive of any bad influence they may cause because that's all Helius' choices.
The general idea is you never want to nerf the rewards / progression, you want to buff it. Then everyone is like "yey they listened" kappa.
The classic anchoring of expectations to make people think "what a deal!" while getting ripped off. Thank you for bringing it up. It's important to remember this scummy tactic and all the others they may or already have used that's present in every mobile, gacha, f2p game.
