Now i think you are right that probably campaign will be separate and patreons won't get it as reward.

In standard Helius fashion you can find both, depending on the mood at the time and what will serve him best. I assume they took it, "Can't take a story with porn serious" never really rang true since all the characters still run around in gimp suits with their ass hanging out.

But yeah this could also be fake like the top tier mo cap studio doing work for free in exchange while also implementing back end servers for free, just so some random porn dev could test the implementation for them. Now they're on AWS obviously, while using animators.

Something I've been wondering for a while, is there any way to get the workshop scenes in VR? It seems like you're limited to the the lab and the scenes in there. I never figured out how to access these in VR.

so after about 2-3 hours i had around 6 crashes mostly when changing the outfits of the ladies after a sex experiment. Other than that i didnt experience much frame dropping usually hovered around 60-120. Most of the time a median 80 was possible. Don't bother trying to play this game on a non-current gpu. If you want to play this comfortably, you need at LEAST a 2060 or atlest a 6700xt if your an amd kid. My 2 cents anyway. If you wanna jack it with 30 fps and framestuttering with your 1080ti or w.e be my guest no one can stop you. But as it stands, this game isnt and wont be optimized for a while. Save your pennies boys, when it drops with a vr release in around a year or so, you will need a rtx 3070 minimum to play this in vr and not feel like your experience sucks. Anywho, figured i would contribute for once, since i mainly lurk and never post.

A bit unrelated but any way of getting the game to run on Linux (Harem mode won't start even with mindflayer)?

So far I've tried making a certificate on a windows machine and copied the game to a Linux machine but it didn't work.

A quick edit to my comment: where would the certificate be stored on windows and could you theoretically just place it in a wine environment?

Secondly because the initial development was focused or Alet she has the most animations, Anya got most animations in patches because she was really far behind, even now Anya has 20 animations less then Alet.

Anyways afaik they've said why Galatea is vaporware at this point. I don't find it hard to believe and even tho I may be just as disappointed as you are ( I too dislike Anya, flat is justice) I can understand why she went MIA. Who knows? Maybe in the future she will get steam approval, or we just put our eggs in the Yanshi basket and pray.

Also I don't see how a poll on the girls popularity correlates to how many animations they get. Unless they were explicitly asking who they should focus on on their Patreon polls, and even on those polls they state that polls will be taken as suggestions and not promises.

You guys are overcomplicating this process all by yourselves by getting cracks and different incompatible versions of the game randomly without any knowledge.

IMPORTANT NOTE! READ THIS FIRST BEFORE FOLLOWING THE STEPS: THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T BUY THIS GAME. IF YOU BOUGHT THIS GAME YOU DON'T NEED TO DOWNLOAD OR USE ANYTHING IN THIS THREAD. MINDFLAYER IS LITERALLY A SERVER EMULATOR AND CRACK IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO DID NOT BUY THE GAME!

If you have read the note then proceed to follow the steps to get the game working:

1. Download 0.4.5 from OP(I've downloaded it from mixdrop) and extract it to somewhere. It includes mindflayer and crack files, no need to download anything additionally.
2. If you have never played this game before you can skip steps 2,3,4,5. If you have played this game before continue reading. Click start menu on Windows and write "certmgr.msc" there, hit enter.
3. Click "Action" then "Find Certificates"
4. Write "ProjectHelius" in textbox and click "Find Now" button.
5. If result is empty, good. If something comes up, right click it then delete.
6. Close every window about certificates and go to this folder where you extracted the game: Operation Lovecraft Fallen Doll Playtest 0.4.5\Paralogue\Binaries\Win64
7. Find certificate file in the folder and delete it. Its name is something like this: MindflayerCertificate_random-numbers-and-letters.pfx
8. In the same folder as the certificate you just deleted there should be "Mindflayer.Desktop.exe", double click it and accept whatever it says.
9. Game should open after a blackscreen, if everything went right it should say Mindflayer in the right side of main menu.
10. You should only launch the game from this "Mindflayer.Desktop.exe", don't launch it from any other exe files and don't need to delete any .exe files.

Sure, they've said that now, but that was not what they said a year ago. Galatea is almost finished but we can't show many things on Patreon. And now it's "We have to conform to Steam's rules". Even though GOG is an option and they're fine with everything... except their DRM and Gacha (Actually, I think the GOG news was before they even started with the Gacha stuff).

That "Artistic Freedom" and "Being in control" sounds a lot more like "Greed" right now.

I'm talking about what they've added since the Beta, and will add in the future. The stuff they add now is mainly Anya, with a little bit of Erika, and barely any Alet. Those hound animations are from when Erika wasn't even in the game. You could also compare how many animations both of them have with the Sylph and the Elder Thing.

Did you download it from the link I posted in step 1?
Because this sounds like a crack problem and if you did download it from that link it should have crack already applied.
Make sure game(crack) or Mindflayer is not quarantined/deleted by your antivirus.
Disable your anti-virus and try everything again.
Also try installing unreal engine stuff from: Operation Lovecraft Fallen Doll Playtest 0.4.5\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us\UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe
If it still doesn't work I have no idea.

No, i simply disagree. Whatever the animations are old or "new" the girls need to have about even amount of total animations else someone is gonna be upset. I remember them showing off the horse-monster and then justifying the multiplayer online mode as a way of getting them into the game. Now with Galetia pretty much dropped, what's the fate of these other creatures?

I've tried to trawl through the discord occasionally to find info, but the constant shitty emoji posting and off-topic retardation makes it pretty hard to find actual information. Progress reports just seem to be filled with 'look at all these awesome future chicks we've made concept art for'.

A large amount of people here, including supporters either current or previously, are pretty miffed about the direction the game has taken in general. Keep in mind that while you apparently have only started supporting the project now, a large amount of patreons were supporting this when it was being marketed as a different game style completely. A style which lacked aspects people see as a negative (grind, monetization).

Not a lolichad myself, but an example is the Galatia question. People gave financial support based on the promised implementation of a certain character, and the dev team spent months marketing this character to supporters. Now because of their distribution choices driven partially by the change of game format, this character is not going to be implemented as planned. People, not pirates who couldn't really care less but actual patreons who put money down for this, are going to be rightfully miffed at this. Such is the perils of patreon crowdfunding.
