Even ignoring the general scummy-ness of those business practices, Helius presented this is something that wouldn't have those and that you'd get a complete experience for your purchase. Now outfits you've bought are locked behind the store page so you need to grind or buy a booster/currency to actually get it and really that's going to go for anything now. You've payed him for the opportunity to pay him more.

This is the sort of patreon project where you just refund the recent pledges you can and move on.

If it's hard to get refund directly from PH then just do what Star Citizen backers do to get their money back, do a chargeback through your banks or paypal, fill a dispute that state that the patreon project you're pledging is creating a game that's not what you're promised before. Edit: It may takes weeks and you may only get some of your money, but at least you get it and then you can move on and leave this mess behind.

I had to do literally this. Just make sure to contact Helius/Patreon first since the first step of any charge back for this kind of issue will be "Did you contact the merchant directly?"

Now take it with grain of salt but to my understanding if you claimed the bonus content you will get it via the mail while those that did not will have a chance to get the outfits from the weekly shop rotation .

Those type of outfits are common in hentai games so i don't find it strange they make it here. I like good variety, i would like it better if it was connected to some corruption story tho...

You maybe too young to understand this but in the past we used to get fully completed games without any microtransactions or DLC's.
No matter how much effort they put in, no matter how good the game is, I will never ever pay for a porn game with microtransactions. They can go fuck themselves. I'll never support this increasingly anti-customer behaviour of any developer, no matter how good their games are.

I could write essay here, on one hand i agree on the other i'm aware that the game business reality has changed.
So i will just say that ultimately it is manner of value you are expecting to get out of your $.

So lets lock even more shit behind the shitty grind mechanics without changing them so we can't test the new stuff to report it broken. And I do not believe we will gain this shit for free when the game comes out into Early Access, Helius has already lied about stuff and been dodgy before and he can't even keep is moderation staff in line even so no I do not believe it will change when Early access arrives he might even make it so we can buy Character bundles with the outfits we already paid for so we can pay for them again with real cash twice.

Curiosity ? Desire to fap ? On steamdb the number of players appears to be constant - and whenever they feel they need some more people they will release update or give freebies. It's probably enough if one player unlocks 20-30% of cards, only insane people will grind hard atm. (if you wonder then yes there are insane people there).

I did receive likes some time ago but certainly not weekly, i do try to log once a week. They released some info regarding the drills and ability to leave avatar in restrained devices as additional ways to get currency.

EDIT: Ups i misread the quote, the harem pass & season passes are not free and getting them as reward for patreon support does not make them free. Will have its own storefront and I doubt it will be free. Someone invested 15 mil for this and I'm not too sure how they'd freemium a singleplayer story, though I wouldn't put it past them to try and find a harem mode type of monetization for that too.

15m for a small indie game, they might as well buy the whole IP. That's probably the catch for the 15m, as they want the rights to own the game. Or at least, a huge share of the profit
