I know what is SC and also what is "squadron 42". "SC" announced in 2014, started crowdfunding for "expected release next year" (yea, ha-ha!).
Ok, my mistake that FD (then "Paralogue") was announced and started mikling in 2016 (or it was 2015?, same "next year release" promise, I don't remember), not 2014. So it is 8 years for SC and "only" 6 years for FD, but SC needs many times much more program code and design. And "Project Hellius" completely misses the irony in his "disastrous management" view.

Hi guys, I got one question... when it comes to the sex scenes, is it animation only and no dialogue or does it include dialogue?

find a megadownloader and a video instruction for it on the Internet. Download as much as you want without limit. I thought in 2022 at least everyone on this site should already know about it.

I don't know if this is a sudden abundance of self awareness of Helius's part or the usual lack, just thought it was funny.

Like yeah, early access turning into constant delays and heavily buggy demos is definitely a sign of bad management.

Also this is now going cloud gaming only to solve the piracy problem, and so it can be a full mobile game.

I don't really know what to say. Even the server thought he was joking at first.
Wow, just wow. How the hell did a little sex pose selector game snowball into such a clusterfuck of bad decisions? He's looking at cloud gaming now? What's next, NFTs?

I wish I could say Helius is being retarded with these decisions and reality will slap him back onto the right track, but I'm afraid he might actually be somewhat justified because he has literally years of revenue proving people are willing to throw money at him regardless of how much anti-consumer shit he keeps shoveling down his supporters' throats. Even if he loses most of his audience over this, he'll probably be able to reap in a comfortable amount with this scam for quite a few years.

Tried to keep an open mind, didn't want to call it a scam, but any developer admitting they're taking ownership of a game away from paying customers is admitting to being a scammer.

Read the messages around all of that. He was talking about the Star Citizen Squadron 42. Also, one person is not "the server".

The cloud gaming Helius mentioned is unrelated to that Star Citizen conversation, and to be fair it is ironic to be criticizing another game when they have their own mess to clear up. They're still implementing as this online stuff even though so many people are complaining about it on steam forums and have suggested against it in their suggestion channel

this dude...seriously thinks...he can purchase enough resources...to run thousands if not hundreds of thousands of sessions...at once....with the graphics that this game has?...
this has got to be a parody
I'm not seeing this
It's not real
Seems like a fair amount of patrons and people on steam are against the online thing so hopefully they don't just give the middle finger to backers
as if they haven't doing it so far the ENTIRE time
At this point, the only thing that might redeem this stupidity is if helius announces that fallen doll is actually an elaborated social experiment about how fucking stupid people can be when they are horny
that would be fucking hillarious

the fact that they are only able to compare themselves to fucking star citisen speaks wonders of their development mindset

There's no ambiguity he means OL is going cloud.
1653214182465.png

"We are preparing a collab" Helius didn't buy out SC, he still only has FD: OL.

As for the reactions I normally don't include them since it takes someone 1 minute to verify that for themselves, but there you see two Pillars of the community" and a "Hoarder of waifu" reacting poorly, ranks you get in the discord for being a long time ardent fan.

More long time supporters not happy.

You get the picture. There's no drama queening happening, it's just literally what happened. Hence the screen shots of it literally happening.

Meanwhile, more than a year has passed without any substantial content being added to the game - no new characters, no new monsters - just a bunch of recycled threesome scenes.

The moment a project like this starts announcing they're doing an overhaul, or switching to a new engine, or introducing new and unnecessary features no one asked for (though this is the third time they're doing it here), you know they're just coming up with excuses to keep the money flowing in for a few more months, while no real work on the project is being made.

PH has no plans on finishing this game and once the Patreon money starts drying up he'll just kill the project like the did with the original Fallen Doll and being a new scam.

Imagine completely gimping every aspect of your game so you can "solve the piracy problem". And I'm sure everyone is just itching to play porn games on the go, glad he's adding mobile support.

Moving to cloud gaming means ostracizing the some probably 40-60% of people who either have cruddy internet or metered bandwidth and I guess Helius is hoping to recoup that by courting the mobile audience.

We can criticize this move all we want but idk maybe Helius will be the first ever to solve piracy successfully.

I won't be buying either way since they lost me at online multiplayer. A real shame.

Honestly can't even call that a successful solution when in the process they essentially tell a good portion of people that supported them to kick rocks. What they're trying to do is something that not even the greediest of game companies(EA) would attempt. It is unfortunate though that this game is going to waste for no good reason. Thankfully I only gave $36 or whatever it was to get into CBT to these people. Makes me really appreciative of devs of NSFW games like Wild Life working to release a good product without screwing supporters with anti-piracy methods. It's actually kind of funny and sad that people that legitimately own the game have to download a pirated copy to not be forced into online/live service shenanigans.

I'm also kind of intrigued to see how some of the higher tiered supporters react if the game turns into a disaster, as I see a lot of them are supportive or nonchalant about the game slowly turning into a mobile gacha fest and remain excited as long as pictures of new characters are posted.
