I really don't understand what the fuck is going on in the dev's mind anymore.
Like what's the point of adding every selection of anticonsumer psychologically exploitative practice that completely disrespects your time in a game that they vouched will feature no microtransactions at all.
Pretty sure that's a big fat lie and the dev will give in at some point.
I mean, the infrastructure for monetization is already there: you've got battle pass, card packs (with apparently useless non-recyclable duplicates), daily missions, weekly exp caps, rotating shop stock along with other fomo bullshit.
How the fuck does anyone look at all of this when designing a game and think this is fun?
Really hope one day someone cracks this game makes an "all content unlocked" version.

This has to be the lamest excuse I've seen to date. Blame the artists?? How does that explain how ANY NSFW project has artists? They're pulling 50k euro a month and don't have enough money to keep artists on their payroll?

still no update? lol I was kicked out of Discord for protesting racist comments made by Chinese people. Several years have passed since then, but the game doesn't seem to have changed at all. Although the number of sponsors has decreased, it is very frustrating to see new sponsors still being deceived.
How do we know that Helius don't go to some jetset party in his latest Lambo, every night, while browsing f95 and laughing at us pathetically. €50K is a big money. He just have to sleep for 6 months and he can get another Lambo to choose. Or he can just sleep for a year and he can buy a decent house fully furnished (If you don't live in US or Europe).
The amount of pathetic updates makes me believe that he only assemble a team for just a month once a year for the mandatory update, and spend the rest sleeping while throwing a penny or two for the talented but starved artist to render a pretty picture every month to keep the "hopes" up.
If only Illusion have scamlius money so they can hire proper programmers and don't have to close shop. *sigh...

I'm upset that I wanted to play a nice game I was willing to pay for, but the game is shit so I won't even bother. I'm more than a drone, and unlike the patrons, I realise that paying $36 for something unfinished is fucking idiotic. I'm disappointed that this game isn't want it was advertised to be, and hell, it isn't even what they are advertising it as right now, BECAUSE NONE OF THE FUCKING GAME DESCRIPTIONS INCLUDE ANY GATCHA ALWAYS ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, you moron.

Some of the people in this thread DID pay for the game, and some of them even got banned from the discord for voicing their complaints and criticism. I'd say that's a pretty valid reason to be pissed.
For the rest of the people in this thread, we're upset because a very promising game (and I use that term loosely) is turning out to be a pile of garbage, a bait&switch that doesn't match what is advertised. And for all intents and purposes this game IS a scam, he's taking 50k per month and delivering what exactly? Denuvo, gacha mechanics and micro transactions... You don't have to get scammed to recognize a scam, mind you!
And ultimately we're pissed at Helius for pulling this crap when there could've been a game worth paying for instead of this and at the people who keep giving him money despite all of this crap burying their heads in the sand like an ostrich.
As for the other games, what are we supposed to do, be pissed about a game we never even heard of? I don't have time to be pissed at everything wrong with the world so I'm prioritizing. I never heard of Divine Arms until now and it's honestly not even the same kind of game, there may be some overlap in the fanbase but I don't think it's that big. I'm pissed at other games too, don't worry, I just keep it in their threads (or to myself if the threads are dead and there's no clouds to yell at).

I re-visited this thread after a year to see if anything had changed. Helius is actually admitting what everyone was saying all along? Took him long enough. No one asked for the gatcha bullshit, if he's losing hair that's 100% on him.
well so far i have been testing the beta and in summary you need players to get it on with you and you collect likes to get items etc. you can only play as 1of 4 females and my character still hasnt been served up any thing yet. i wish i could play a male and do the deed instead of an avatar
