I still dont understand the concept of having effing Denuvo on a what? pre alpha game? I refuse to call this current build beta. I've seen better games at their alpha stage. what purpose would the Denuvo serve at its current stage? I would understand if it were a full release game and they want to "try" to get as much cash as possible before it's cracked, but now? shit, the devs musta been smoking some of the craziest shit.

The head honcho of this game has the money to hire more people to work on this, but the question is, will he? I wish he would, but the man wants all the dollars for himself apparently.
At this point you're just setting yourself up for disappointing if you are still expecting more from this project

This game is not even out yet, but there are season passes in it already.
I am expecting something, never said it was something good... Like Helies trying to make this game even more anti-consumer. There are plans for a combat drill mode in the future, and you can expect to be broken, glitchy and monetized to hell.
I'm not invested in this game anymore, not in the sense of wanting to play the thing, but it's entertaining to see this as a whole.
Who will give up first? The Patreon supporters or Helius himself? And if this game actually releases someday, how long it can last before people are fed up with it?

There really isn't any definite hope for this game, and you should be glad you don't support this game anymore. I have waited tireless years for the release for this fucking game, and this game still isn't officially released yet. What the fuck is this bullshit.

It's impressive how I found this site through this game years ago and it still brings endless entertainment through sheer incompetence and greed. How does a man try to make a game greedier than chinese gacha. It's literally a degenerate coomer game, no one should be paying for this. HAVE SOME DIGNITY.

This thread alone is worth it because of all the Memes and jokes. Some years ago, this game looked really promising, before all the gacha horseshit and season passes. It was a glorified scene viewer, but a good-looking one at that. So I and many others got pretty pissed at the general direction this game took.
But now, being really honest with you lad, even if this game did a 180 and turned out good by some miracle I already lost my interest in it.
But seeing people memeing about Helies is funny, and it feels good to see people protesting against anti-consumer practices like this, I'm tired of season passes and microtransactions in almost every game that is released nowadays, it's predatory and too greedy for my tastes.
With this game, we have all that and the game has not even been released yet.
Funnily enough, the thread that is trashing this game is the best part of the said game.
The really hilarious part is that if Helius had actually tried to deliver on the three games, instead of repeatedly scamming and lying to people, he'd be swimming in money, instead of having to squeeze his Patreon paypigs for every last cent they have.
To be fair to him he probably has made a lot from this Patreon whilst expending very little on actual dev costs. I mean the man took a ~14 month break and came out the other side with what looked like a few months of low quality work to show for it, the game literally didn't work for a further few months as a result and he still has ~13k subs. His only real expenditure seems to be commissioning concept art and purchasing stock assets, he even has an unpaid mod team!
Say what you will about the game, obviously it's hilariously bad and we're all just waiting for the drama that happens when Helius switches the servers off, but it has almost definitely been hugely profitable.
wasn't cyberpunk 2077 supposed to be the first AAAA game ?

Not long before Starfield releases. If modding takes off anything like Skyrim, there's a good chance Starfield will sate whatever kinks people were looking for in this game minus microtransactions, gacha, and online requirements. Here's hoping the horny people on Loverslab does what Helius refuses to do and delivers a scifi porn experience without greedy developer practices.

The Live Service of AAA games is their model here, that's why the Gacha and "In game currency" are important to them. These guys don't aim to make a fun erotic game, they aim to empty your wallet, this shitty ass stale of a game has been like this for a long time now, they wanna milk everything out of their audience just to change their names and go make another shitty cash grab...these devs are like leeches, pretty accurate state for AAA devs nowadays!
There was a new update yesterday, idk what it was for but it seems like QoL updates.
After clicking "Play" inside steam it was a mere seconds before the game opened. It used to take a minute or two.
Game felt snappier. They changed the UI a little.
FYI: gallery still looks like SHIT. No where near the "quality" of these other photo's.
(4k OLED, i7 11th gen, 64 gb dual ram, 3070 rtx 8gb: gigabyte laptop)(Changing from 4k to 2k takes everything down 5-10%)
LET ME KNOW if you want any other photo's.

Did they ever fixed the scaling/resolution problem?
I don't know how to describe it but there is a bug (in the cracked version anyway) that the textures don't load properly, e.g. the stockings or models just lack the resolution you expect.
If they did fix that I would actually be willing to pay 10 bucks for someone to crack it, so that everyone can profit.
