The original release date was like 2015. Next year it'll be 2023. Then 2024...

Managed to make the game run in true stereographic 3d using tridef3D and virtual desktop for VR.
Was not expecting that this would work since tridef is from a company that went bankrupt long ago. It wasn't simple, firstly the game must use the lowest antialiasing. I think this is because the higher setting uses temporal AA. So tridef would be confused and display the same image on both screen. But enabling DSR in Nvidia Control panel made the AA not a problem and it looks nice. Also I had to use low setting ingame because of the weird hard shadow, this along with some textures on the wall would not render in 3D. Also the bandage costume for some reason had some glitches with alpha.
To get tridef to work today you need to install the TriDef-3D-7.4-Installer.exe. Then dump the crack folder (Tridef 3D 7.4 fix) in the install folder. Open TriDef 3D Ignition and go to file and load the tridef profile i made. Add KiritoMod049.exe and use the tridef profile.

When starting KiritoMod049.exe from TriDef 3D Ignition you should see two side by side screens, if not then someting about the crack didnt work, and you need to reinstall Tridef3D with the crack again. Every time you start FDOL you need to go into settings and enable and disable motion blur, otherwise she will look like she is being sucked into a black hole. Also remember to set AA to lowest.
With Virtual Desktop just set it to half side by side. I also recommend to put the screen as far back as possible with minimal curve. It's also possible to use Bigscreen Beta on steam to play 3D games aswell.
Open the tridef overlay with num0. Go into performance and turn off stream 3D. This setting must be off for proper 3D.
Under 3D change the scene depth to 100, and percent in front to something like 21. These can be changed to fit the scene anytime.
Then under output you might need to swap between the left and right eye because tridef wont save this option (bug), just close one eye at a time to check if the correct eye is set to each eye.
The bad thing about this "game" is that it lacks a field of view option. In the profile menu there is 3 modes for changing the depth focus under the scene setting. Scene 1 works best when in gallery. In Harmony or whatever, use scene 1 when walking then scene 2 or 3 during the experiments.

i pointed out that you exxagerated claim about best rigs would not be able to hand this game if open world wich is a scretch and debatable. I know what game streaming is. Might be easier since on cloud. I doubt this game gonna be a big open world at first, think gonna start by having a little hub, 1 can compare with is Black Dessert town and DBFZ. Player in hub probably 5-12. The game is graphic intentsive agreed on that but i think you can run this game with average graphic card if you lower settings. Having RTX 2000 series or 3000 series would be best i belive. i do think aswell having Harem mode is bit dumb and crazy considering the game has little content as it is on gallery mode. Think would be great if he released content on gallery as update each month instead of having it as preview for full game wich has been for wait for a long time.
I dont know if this thread became a Helus hate train, Not particular you but some people be hating on Helius, Milfy City creator gotten hate aswell, but honestly dont want to part take in it because its bit low but aswell i just discovered the guy last year ago. Its good critizing work and alerting people of crators who might be scamming or taking advantage of fans, but what do somone gain by insult. Its better to just report patreon if feel he dosent done any progress or released rewards. I simply just want great game with decent community, its not to much to ask for right? Like obviously people here want the game to succeseed, and that the wait is worth it. If you supported him, you get your pledge as curency with the content he previewed on patreon. I just supported him for beta and just recently just to see what he is up to. There is probably people who pledged for few months or years. Some are positive some are negative about the progress and wait time. Only time will tell by end of 2022 wich hopefully the full game will be released, and if it was worth it.

The main problem is, theres no actual real progress aside "beta" and those designs and ideas they keep popping out when the game isnt even out nor show that it totally playable. Also the part that really have red flag alarm sounding around it is the currency or battlepass. This sort of things you usually already planned long ago and not like "Oh yeah we gonna add battlepass and premium currency". Also calling this... thing a game? Its simulator, not a "game". Heck it isnt a simulator since you not the one that controlling it. Examples of bad funding that have similar attributes that I can think of that related to FD are Elyria and Cyberpunk. Good money flow that ended up with non-exist game or shiet ass game.

The game is barely a game yeah, its a simulator with some clicks its still a game but very little gameplay yep. There is people who donates 100s of bucks for project like this. Its a sour taste indeed knowing you lack content for a game wich been up for years. We want content. Like people invest in what they love and believe in. Sometimes it goes great and sometimes bad. Dont invest what can hurt you. Also money makes the world go forward. Like its kinda dumb insulting supporters, not you mate but others. The game, several game, projects would not be continued if it wasnt for supporters. Like tons of people are supporters maybe you to. im supporter for his but its minor. Just few bucks can make a different. If there is many who support, it can turn a game, content creator or show from dying to something wich great. I do agree with you that if the game becomes shit then its very bad, and honestly unethical. Helius have alot of promises, maybe he has a big team , and maybe why he is so confident. The game is already looking good so i dont think most doubt him about animation. Art and animation looking great, concern is the content and gameplay. I think content is something minor to fix. Steam say full game be released by end of 2022 we just have to wait til then if the game becomes shit or great. Hopefully a game most of ous can be happy about.

how do you even use these tho? do they just replace the normal human in scenes?

Yes, you can select them to be your player model. You can also use them in Studio Neo to make more complex scenes.
I'm not sure which part of this you are finding hard to understand, the game has been ~1 year away from release for nearly a decade. You think it will be released in 2022 because you only joined in the last year and this is probably the first date you've heard. The rest of us know better.
When you're a decade into a project your primary output should not be concept art. I would suggest going back and looking at the earliest

to compare to what you're seeing now and see if you can work out what work has been done in the intervening time to justify the delay.This is a pretty common business model these days and it's exacerbated by the ease with which you can chuck together relatively functional tech demos with engines like UE4/5 in basically no time at all. Get a few skilled 3D artists on contract, one or two devs to get the bare minimum working and spin some wild tales involving massive publisher collabs, staff being poached, unruly investors forcing you to do [the bad thing] etc. and you can milk Patreon ad nauseam.
Once you've got this going there's a massive financial incentive to not actually finish the game/product because it will kill your consistent monthly revenue. To be honest I'm more inclined to blame Patreon for encouraging a subscription based model for in-progress development work than the actual devs for being corrupted by it.
Since we have some newer patrons coming in confused about the hate, I’ll write a quick summary of the more recent drama so everyone can more or less be on the same page. To start off, lets go all the way back to 2017 since that’s probably earlier than a lot of people here have been on. Helius Started his project by appealing to the sort of old school person who likes to pirate before you buy it and hates microtransactions (mtx) /gacha.
And the mods were happy to continue talking down mtx even up to the release of the beta in late November.
Even outright lying that the game wasn’t free to play gacha days before it released as free to play gacha.
This would be a bad look on it's own, without the solid base of people against this. So what happens when you cultivate a fanbase on the idea of no mtx/gacha only to release a free to play gacha? Well, you get the drama that happened in November/December. A lot of angry core supporters feeling scammed. It doesn’t help that the mods were kinda dicks around this time.
Not to mention, as you can see, deleting posts that were critical of the game. This is why there’s a large split between the discord and forums they don’t control, since of course banning anyone for dissent will cause them to go fester elsewhere, with their concerns remaining unaddressed and making the feeling of being scammed that much stronger. Also if you wanted to collect on that refund good luck, they’d just close your support ticket or talk shit to you more. Hard not to have that feel like a scam, even if this refund request was never authentic basically taunting people with their money being gone is a douche move.
To try and answer Karb’s question late, the people then were speaking for about 1/3 or more of the supporters, probably more as long time supporters are replaced with new steam supporters.
Also this drop isn’t because of the hiatus, they actually grew supporters during the first hiatus before they screwed over their old supporters.
They did eventually release an apology for this, months after when it was clear they were losing money over it. Kinda falls flat at that point, and most people who would’ve liked to see it were already banned.
They were just also shady in general about giving out news, like saying you’ll never be able to buy currency before announcing the conversion rate to buy currency a week later.
It really kills their credibility to see stuff like that. And before someone says patreon donations don’t count as purchases, that’s a really flimsy loophole to try and exploit and few people outside the discord will agree with you, a conversion rate is pretty damning for able to buy. Also Helius himself would disagree with you as he considers patreon a purchase.
There’s also debate about stuff being censored, Galatea is the prime example of that. I won’t go into as much detail on that. Just know Helius is pretty tight lipped on it, often deleting his own posts on the matter. It’s again another reason people feel he’s stringing them along.
All of this just scratches the surface really, I'd suggest reading back in the thread for more if you really want it.
Just in general to avoid people being argumentative the thing to keep in mind is there’s a lot of long time supporters here who get a sense of schadenfreude watching parts of the project fall apart. It’s something they enjoy, and the amount of money down the drain means they're invested in this whatever happens. You can’t expect to come to an established community and have them stop talking about something just because you weren’t there for it and don’t understand or find it relevant to you at this point. It looks childish and overly self important.

On Patreon it stated it been in work since 2016 wich is 6 years not a decade. Like i do get you point, that its smart of him to milk because if he release full game his revenue might drop. I blame Patreon aswell, but like many want the game to reach its potential. Lets be real tho many games specifically triple AAA games takes years or decade to release their game. Why cant this game? Especially when its several years ahead on graphics compared to adult games. Like sure milking is bad, but like its not like the creator is asking for your life earnings. Its like 30 bucks wich is little, many games cost like 50-70 usd. Wich date has Helius mentioned beside 2021-2022? Also what you mean by "rest of us know better" ? What do you and others know that we supporters dont know? Like many of here which iw seen are saying vague insulting comments to creator. Also no i dont think i have more importance just because of event. Thats bit of a scretch. People can critize what and how much they want. Wether if its waste of time or not. No one likes to feel being wronged or betrayed, but like try atleast try not to be toxic especially if random guy like me for example is curious of a situation, and being respectable. Atleast be respectable to people. I mostly had problem with Gabriel. Like few people mentioned thread was becomming sad wich is unfortunate. Its nice to be have some clarifications from people, so thanks. And yes seems few people are schadenfreude (interesting cool word) or people just being pessimistic, or just numb.
