Is the resolution of the Bardo subplot worth suffering through the absolutely idiotic (given that Makina is a human battleship by that point) unavoidable rape scene?

Not really, also it depends which one you're talking about out of the two, the first one will just progress Bardo's questline the second one is meaningless because it serves as a Game Over and just returns you before making that stupid decision.

I'm referring to the one where you stumble across the bandit hideout, kill a couple of his guys, and then he just absurdly one-shots you and it's rapin' time
It's such a retarded scene that I'm thinking about just skipping that questline unless someone is able to tell me that the end of the questline is worth putting up with it

Just skip it, what happens is this:
1. He beats Makina, rapes her and then imprisons her;
2. The knight lady(forgot her name) rescues you and tells Makina to be careful and not go there again;
3. Makina can go into the fortress again and "try" to beat Bardo, but he beats her again and makes her his personal sex slave with noone to save her;
4. The title screen goes - "Game Over" and game loads to time after the knight lady saved you.
This questline is not worth it, the wolf kid has some kind of finish, maybe even the goblin one too, but this does not.

Wait that? I remember playing version 1.0.7 but...

"To update to 1.7.2 get the free patch from the official website (only works with GoG version)"?

I'm on the website and I don't see anything about a version 1.7.2, I only see version 1.07.2. I guess the text in post #1 is wrong?

Makina will have a manga :love::love::love::love::love:

I've seen that! And yes, I'm happy enough to like that, but I wish anotherstory could give us an hint about a sequel of the game, even a new one with another protagonist, or a Makina 2

It's been a pretty long while since there was even an update on that other new game AnotherStory was doing. Makes me think it's going at a snail's pace at this rate... well that or he decided to swap game engines.

The manga was alright. Basically a scene from the game. Hope it's a sign of more things to come, but who the hell knows after all these years.

I hope somebody can help me. I am kind of stuck, I have 45 corruption points and don't know how to gain more. Everywhere I check, says that I need more corruption points to continue that scene, like with the masseuse. Says like I need 80 corruption points. Any place I can gain points say I don't have enough points to play that scene. Sort of like a catch-22. I am not sure but, does Makina get the chance to work at the brothel?
