1 update and then silence again for years? This guy has lost all trust. He needs to release several updates in a row to regain people's trust.
Nah. He's been like this for forever. I don't think there's any trust to lose or regain. You either are cool with it or not. I don't expect anyone ever to change their mind about him, in either direction.

You don't believe in people. But maybe it's right. Have there ever been any cases where developers stopped fooling people? Probably, not. If someone lies to people, then he always does it.

You guys just can't seem to grasp the reality of this deal. FIRST OF ALL, NOT ALL DEVS ARE LIKE THIS, BUT it isn't in any way about lying, deceiving, fooling, gaining trust or any of that nonsense. These developers are beholden to nobody. NOBODY. Not to patrons, not to cup of coffee buyers, nobody. They owe no explanations for delays, changes, nothing. No reasons, no apologies, nothing. They work for no company, they are totally independent. Can't get them fired, or in trouble or anything else. The patron sites have no action to take against them. They love them. As long as subscribers are giving the dev money, they get their percentage. Money talks. The devs can go on their merry way and never give you another anything. Not so much as a word, and if their patron site stays up it will bill you month after month for the nothing you're paying for. That will go on until the end of time if you let it, and the developer still collects, and the patron site still collects, and your money is gone. No recourse, no refunds, just sorry pal. And don't fool yourself into believing that if a dev does that and goes silent for say, 18 months, certainly no one will play his game anymore should he drop an update. Well just the last few posts in this thread will give you that answer, and I can show you thread after thread that will prove that theory to be complete bunk. These guys work at will. Theirs not yours. Your concerns with the way they do business have no meaning to them. There are plenty of porn addicts to take your place if you get fed up and leave (which you won't, face it). As a user you have no power in this genre. My suggestion is just sit back and enjoy what you get when you get it. It's free here so what's to bitch about? Nothing because it isn't going to change. It's an unchangeable situation.

Yep, as soon as I got the email from patron (free tier now) for that update post i checked his last post. It was an update from 2022 saying the update is ready which never saw daylight. So untill we see the update I don't believe shit on this dev say.

Forgot about this one. Nice to see it's still around.

Also, people really need to understand that not every AVN dev is doing this as their fulltime job. You're not about to prioritize a hobby that makes less than 400 bucks a MONTH over your actual job or school. Just the way it is. Save that frustration for the devs pulling in over 10k a month and only manage to put out updates once every 14 months and they're less than 15 minutes of gameplay.

You could throw this man into the pit of hell and he'd still come back.

I wonder how many renders are in this section.

it will be like this: he will be active for a month or two and then starts to slowly disappear like this:

and then for how long who knows he comes back and repeat
