Well just the last few posts in this thread will give you that answer, and I can show you thread after thread that will prove that theory to be complete bunk. These guys work at will. Theirs not yours. Your concerns with the way they do business have no meaning to them. There are plenty of porn addicts to take your place if you get fed up and leave (which you won't, face it). As a user you have no power in this genre. My suggestion is just sit back and enjoy what you get when you get it. It's free here so what's to bitch about? Nothing because it isn't going to change. It's an unchangeable situation.

if this was a free game you would be correct but people are paying him for it so he actually is beholden to the people on patreon because they're paying him

He is making less than $200 a month, plus he's in Ukraine, and probably can't even collect the money anyway...

Plus, there is a "cancel" button.

Minus, he was always behaving like this. This game was abandoned some three times, even before the all the situation in the Ukraine.
I mean, this is pirate forum and all, but seriously taking this guy to seriously does sound tad bit to much.

He is not beholden to anyone as Patreon is for receiving support/donations. You aren't beholden to people that give you tips for playing guitar at a public square.

Damn, quite a few AVNs over the past few days getting updates after 2 years that I thought got abandoned and I forgot about, including this one. I guess the devs are really wanting to avoid that abandoned tag? Though after 2 years dunno why they'd still care, as I did most non-supporters forgot it existed until they open it and realize they have 2yo saves from the previous update (now useless, because I totally forgot the plot and who everyone is so have to restart).

Actually the way most of the world works you are beholden to the people who pays you. While Patron allows you to scam people for their money in general if you take money for something and you don't do that its generally understood that you do lose the trust of people who pay you for your product. If he did that on other platform (or real life) he might be able to be sued for fraud, lets not treat this guy like he's not taking advantage of people who support him because that's exactly what he's doing.
