Why do people want porn that's also a great video game? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with wanting that but it seems weird to me. I can't imagine myself putting hundreds of hours into a porn game. As soon as you cum you're pretty much just going to want to play something that's not a porn game or do something else. Just my preference but I would say a porn game really just needs to be porn with interactive elements to it. I guess some people might want to play a version of half life where you can see Alyx getting fucked completely uncensored or a version of GTA5 where you can fuck the prostitutes in graphic detail but for me it would just make the gameplay awkward. I don't relate to any of you people who think that x rated animation and video games really need to be about anything other than sex.

Speaking of this project specifically, I want it to be a game that it says it will be. There's no gameplay whatsoever. It's just an animation viewer. Which actually can be said for a few other ambitious ero games.

The reason I would want a porn game to be a good porn game, not necessarily a great one mind you, is because what's the point otherwise. Why make a porn game when it's all about the porn and not about the gameplay? At that point you can just as easily satisfy the same crowd with a video or an interactive animation viewer. The reason I like porn games over other erotic media is their interactivity and the context given to the pornographic content.

I didn't mean something so stripped down that's it's just an animation viewer. Of course not. I think things like character customization and scene building are great. What I'm saying is I want to play a porn game where the gameplay is about the sex. I don't need to play an x rated RPG with missions and side quests and an expansive universe. There are people who are into that. Dating sims for example are quite popular with some but I personally find them quite boring and would rather play a real RPG. My idea of a good porn game is basically a game where you can create your own scenarios. Sex villa had the right idea but it was just very poor quality. Bad models and bad animations.

We don't want "gameplay" we want the harmony between play and porn. The best porn games are the ones that lean on porn as the main mechanic instead of a reward behind dull gameplay. And this game build shows potential. You see the medbay works like a gloryhole, drones drop erotic toys and the protagonist is already half-way to being naked like she is actually into it. Compare to another similar title like Wild Life and the gameplay is in complete dissonance with the porn that in the end is just a 3D animation gallery.

The best porn games are like this,

Vitamin Quest; The MC's main objective is getting pregnant, there are sexual attacks, and getting pregnant even gives you status boosts. You are encouraged by the story, by the game mechanics, and by the will of the MC who will have sex with all the male characters in the game for her own purposes and enjoyment.

I find it funny you're trying to have an argument with me when you just agreed with everything I fucking said. I don't know what it is about the internet that makes everyone want to be a keyboard warrior and create disagreement where there is none. I've already stated I wouldn't want to play a porn game that's so stripped down it's just an animation viewer. I've already stated I want the games to lean on porn as the main mechanic. However even if I did want to play a video game that was very limited in it's mechanics and mainly about showing me porn that wouldn't be stupid it would just be a preference. My preference is actually games like Secret Horse Files, RACK and those kind of bondage games where you're essentially having BDSM sex with someone. I'm really into the idea of being in control and those are my favourite types of game.

It's interesting because even in this one thread, we all have different preferences of what type of game we're really super into. I think it's neat to see what other people here actually like in a game and then using that as a framing of what everyone here wants the game to be.

I would agree in theory, but at the same time I love games like Alien Quest Eve and Future Fragments. Despite those featuring mostly sex on defeat, their gameplay and overall quality makes it up to me.

He's not really working on the existing demo, so it will be longer because he's essentially had to start over from scrap on quite a bit. Technically, this particular demo will likely never get an update, but will eventually be replaced by a different project.

I just discovered this game on rule34video and I already hate it.
Why must be this good?
Why couldn't this be just another fap that I would forget, why did I want more?
Now I played, saw the tremendous quality and potential this game have, and just saw it's being about one year since this game was released, and there are just two updates. It's another game that we will gladly eat every little crumb of new content because those things are always done by only one guy that has a life and will work when he can, but that is ok.

I can wait, I wait for all the other games I played. I just need to wait, maybe the next update will have futa...next year...

He's going to do what he wants and abandon the demo because this game is now his passion project. I will say this much though, if he was to start a go fund me and set a fund raising goal for a reasonable amount of cash that would be worth it for him to do an update to the demo he might make enough money to justify it. I'm also wondering if this game ever gets finished if he could update the demo with some of the existing assets and content he creates from the game. The coding and reskinning would be a bit monotonous. I'm not a programmer or game dev but I don't imagine it would take too long. You know what though? I'm done complaining now. I don't relate to all his tastes but if he ends up releasing some weird futa focused game I don't like I'll be happy he achieved his vision and made a game he's proud of. Anyone who's really desperate to have a game just for them should probably be teaching themselves unity coding and animation. I'll check back in next year to see if he's released anything.

Because he wants to work on something more original rather than sticking to just a parody of an existing IP. Even still, some of the assets (such as an improved model of the Alyx character) will get reused. He's talked about it a few times on Discord in the past anytime someone asked as much. Having a rather unpleasant falling out with another content creator not that long ago probably hasn't helped encourage much transparency in his work.

Games take a really long time to make bro. Animated shorts take a really long time to make. I did a programming course in university and worked on a final project with a class of 3d animators. There were three of us in the group. One animator, one artist and me doing the C++ programming. It was a one level of a game and it took us all year. This is one guy. I havn't done any coding since I left uni but I have enough experience to tell you that if you think two years working on an entire video game single handed is a long time you need a reality check. Why do I know it's passion project? Because he spent ages working on a demo and now claims to be working on something else you dummy. This shit is laborious work. You don't do it unless you're driven and you have a passion for it. It's certainly not fun for the most part. The most fun part is seeing it come together and playing the game.
