I do not support this Dev, but this happened with a Dev I do support. Patreon placed this message on their project and contacted them with some questions. This message remains until all issues are resolved. With this Dev, it happened that Patreon found their game on a distribution site like (
So unfortunately, this DEV must still be trying to resolve the issues with Patreon.

I saw that no one has posted it yet, here's an old message from the DEV from June.
Thank you for your support. Far-off Friends V7 was released. But as you guys know, our Patreon account was suspended.

As for Patreon, we have reached out to support and hopefully can get it resolved soon. If we do manage to resolve it, then we'll take further steps to keep them off our back. So for that, we might make some slight changes to both Far-Off Friends and Freeloading Family to try and steer further away from content they might not approve of. This should not affect the game(s) too much, but we just wanted to inform you nonetheless. As always criticism, suggestions and bug reports are always welcomed. Even the ones who you think are the most insignificant will be read, analyzed and put into consideration for the future of the game. Thank you for your patience and have a good day!

For what did Patreon even suspend this game for, did they say anything ?
There is no incest in any way, or other content which is forbidden by them, not even a 3rd party patch.
And their other game only had a patch made by a 3rd party...
Not sure what changes the dev wants to make to this game to appease patreon...i mean, there's nothing in here which goes against their tos.

Does Patreon even need a reason? They get a hair up their ass and then boom...suspended. Or someone reported the game to them. patreon is on a power trip and has been for a long time. They think they are the morality police or something. They will ban small developers, yet allow the big developers to stay. Even when both have the same content.

I think we should give more constructive criticism. I saw a text from someone talking about his writing, and they mentioned this.
Is he overreacting, or were the criticisms really that harsh?

Well i do remember a lot of criticism was pointed at the MC, having no backbone and bending over for any girl, simping...it's kinda true thought imo.
Not being able to really reject LI's. Some criticism towards some of the LI's.
The whole gifting the house part, that it felt like this should be incest and makes no sense without it etc.
Can't remember it being overly harsh...but it's been a while.

I think he is not overreacting. As there are a LOT of people on here that for whatever reasons, enjoy putting down a dev. Be that a new or established dev. If the dev does somethi that they dislike, they complain that the dev should do this or that, just to suit them.
And people wonder why so many games get abandoned.

There are many reasons a game is abandoned lack of money support is a big one, RL issues, New Jobs to name just a few.
Even some that have had good feedback and comments and Dev encouragement get abandoned.
Infact there is even quite a few where the Dev leaves F95Zone because of complaints but keeps making the game.
Fewer are abandoned for the reason you suggest.
