So, been playing through it and even though the writing is a bit rough sometimes, the story is overall solid and the characters have some depth to them.
Personally however, I'm someone who absolutely DESPISE when MC is unwittingly in the middle of some sketchy scheme by people he should be able to trust and people who absolutely OWE him the truth. At this point it's pretty fucking clear that Melissa and basically anyone who was in contact with his dad are in the middle of some scheme involving MC which just makes me not trust anyone anymore, absolutely hate that shit.
Also not a fan of things being completely railroaded without any real options (the dates amongst other things). If you're going to railroad, just remove the useless options all together (putting your hand on Melissa's shoulder or thigh for example, the only reason why it exists is due to an arbitrary point system and could have just been left out completely, or preferably added an option to just not touch her).
It's a shame as I think the character writing really is solid, I just hate the scheme plot with utmost passion, and that's simply a me problem.
