got another one for you guys i can't find an answer to: shiny hole, got everything done, i know there are other scenes to unlock, but unclear how to. already done all the stealing/settling thing with molly but stuck there. anyone knows?

Shiny Hole's plot development continues in ep3 and 4.
In general, yes, but I quite admit such a variant, in which the DM will prepare scenes in advance and put them in an automatic queue for rendering, which will continue during the winter holidays. Such a scheme about queues of renderers is practised by many devs.

Assuming you play the same version as me, I suspect this is the gap in the quest/event log that I mentioned recently. If so, the solution is easy: continue playing the game until you have finished the "Queen of Hearts" photoshoot with Biff. Then go to the Shiny Hole. It will continue now. As soon as you are Queen of the Shiny Hole, the story ends in Episode 2 and continues in Episode 3.

I still have a question. It seems the FAQ didn't provide any information on this. And I couldn't find any other information about it. Maybe I'm too stupid again to find the right search terms. It would not be the first time.
The game is actually based on Monica's fear of being ratted out to Marcus and still having to go to the animal farm. As far as I know, this is only possible if we visit Marcus at times and make appropriate decisions (optional).
However, with this fear we are being blackmailed by Bardie and Victoria. I've tried this a few times. If we don't do what Bardie wants, Monica got her ass spanked to the max. And if Victoria doesn't get her money, we can, in the truest sense of the word, lick her ass. Both punishments can be refused. I never had any consequences, the game just continued like that. What is it like now? Do they really report us to the police if we don't do what they want for long enough?

If someone's got that in there, the game will probably be kicked down there very quickly. I think there won't be more than one "game over" screen if the worst comes to the worst.

I don't know how far you have got yet but in the Marcus event in ep3 it is clear that the farm doesn't have real animals. It will be full of human pets trained to play out a roll of an animal. Like Marcus trains Monica to act like a cat. As weird as that is I think it will be allowed through patreon. There is quite a few instances where a threat is not followed through with if Monica fails at a set task. As you pointed out nothing but a bad taste in her mouth can happen to Monica if she fails to raise the $5000 in a week. Bardie never goes to the police if Monica refuses to be a good maid, Marcus doesn't have Monica arrested if she doesn't visit him at the police station like he says would have happened if she didn't go see him, Betty never kicks Monica out of the house if she doesn't clean the house in the week leading to their guest like she threatens too. I've written before that there should be a at least a game over screen if Monica fails to raise $5000 two weeks in a row. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the game for what it is and not worry about what it is not.
